Chapter 9
"ARTHURRRRR!" Genna shouted while trying to wake up arthur, "NO MORE SLEEPINGG!" genna added.
Arthur woken up after hearing genna, "I-im awake" he muttered.
Everyone was preparing to depart to continue their adventure, After the spar of Mayne and Arthur last night, Arthur went unconscious because of overlapping fatigue of fighting, Arthur is still not used in long duration sparring.
After preparing everything, the team and Arthur's family began to depart.
"mother, how much longer do we have to travel?" asked arthur.
"a few more weeks my dear" Genna replied. And then forced arthur to lay on her lap to sleep.

A few days had passed since they departed and the spar with mayne and arthur still remains as the main topic for the team.
"i never knew that arthur knows how to fight that way" arwin said.
"yeah i was surprised as well on how good arthur is, are you sure arthur is your child troy?" asked leonte.
"I was surprised as well, actually guys, i want to tell you something" said troy and got everyones attention.
"arthur opened his core when he was 3" Troy said, and then.
"WHAT?!!!!" said everyone, mayne was shocked and had her drink spilled out, while others remains in their sit while having their jaw opens.
"Troy are you sure about telling this to everyone?" said genna.
"where's the harm in it" he replied.
"so that explains why he was able to do those crazy stunts" said mayne while scratching her head.
"t-thats cool" said leonte while staring at sleeping arthur.

Arthurs PoV
Its been a week and a half since we departed, and 3 days since i had a spar with Mayne.
Arwin asked me if i can teach him to do the things i did when i had a spar with mayne, and since i got nothing good to do i agreed with pleasure.
After a few days of teaching Arwin, we are here in the river taking a bath, and i finally got to asked him on why he never knew this moves. He said there are no books or mentors that teaches hunters. The reason why i said finally because he might get the wrong idea, he might thing that im belittling him.
The day he said he wants me to be his mentor, I asked him why me? im just half-way through being a 5 years old kid, and he can literally ask anyone to teach him better than me, but he insisted that i must be his mentor despite being so young. He also reasoned that i beat the shit out of mayne where no one would even dare to lay a hand on her.
He also said that Troy, my father. Never taught him any kinds of moves and refuses to do so if asked, so he had to ask me insted.
That explains why people here have less fighting skills than people in my world, there are no books that teaches how to fight and no mentor that teachers how to properly fight.

I was here in the back of the carriage lying in the lap of my mother.
I was looking in the grass fields, i then look at my mom but my mom seems like out of the mood and sick?.
"mother are you okay?" i asked.
"i-i am okay my dear, did i made you worried?" she replied while carefully rubbing her tummy.
"are you sure mother?" i replied with the a mild tone.
"i amm dearr, you need not to be worried" she said then she kissed my forehead.

Its afternoon now, about 1300 to be exact. We are passing through this mountain side when the team began to be wary. I didn't asked on why they became wary because i already knew that mountain sides are famous and obvious spots for thieves and bandits to reside and wait for their victims to come.
I did not expect for such things to happen because i sure that the sphynx team are strong enough to drive them away, not to mention that my dad is strong too.
We are about to take a turn on a cliff and-
"phew" i said to myself, i thought we are about to get attack by some merciless faggots, and bad guys.
But the moment i said that, i saw an arrow headed to the carriage where our belongings is. There are bandits waiting for us.
without a thought to waste i shouted "BA-" but i got interrupted because my father shouted ordering the team to protect us.
"PROTECT GENNA AND ARTHUR!" He screamed. After he said that i look in front of the carriage on what really is happening but-
I saw Father and leonte getting surrounded by 5 theives, 3 of them are muscular and the two guy was slim thin, they are all half naked and the two slim thin guys have dagger as their weapon while the other 3 carries a big hatchet.
Leywin grabbed me while Arwin and Jane assisted mother. We are heading towards the east side of the mountain leaving our belongings behind but the moment we took a turn we faced more enemies up ahead, there are 6 more bandits and three mages.
"Tsk, what a pain" leywin said as he put me down.
"three mages? thats absurd." arwin said and then he handed me a dagger, "you, fight for your mother" he added.
I took the dagger and then goes to my mothers side, standing steadily waiting for them to attack.
Leywin stood upfront and chanted a spell that reinforce not only his body but his armor aswell

After chanting, Arwin chanted a spell that will boost him and Jane chanted an aoe support spell that will reinforce our body and strengthen it.
"A mere chant wouldn't do much" a tall and very muscular guy slowly walks with a big double-edged sword to the front of 6 bandits, after saying that the bandits laughs.
"no talk?"he said in disappointment. "you guys are boring, right guys?" after saying that the bandits laughs again and agreed on what the muscular guy said.
"are you the leader?" arwin said.
"Im Jonathan and so what if, I am?" the guy replied while pointing his hand to himself while and then he smirked.
Arwin smirked and then-
He dashed towards the enemy going behind Jonathan and then jumped right through his head he slashed through his neck but he got blocked by a support mage by making a barrier to protect Jonathan.
"tsk what a pain" arwin said. then dashed towards the mages with an intent to kill.
He jumped towards their back and slashed through one of the bandits shoulders, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" the guy screamed in pain and fell into the ground gripping his ripped shoulders.
"you could be a useful asset to us, why not join us?" Jonathan laughs and then dashed in a bullet like speed towards arwin then hitted arwin on the side, but arwin blocked it with his reinforced dagger causing him to flew away.
"ARWIN!" Jane shouted and was about to run to help but arwin signaled not to move. "Don't" he said. "there's an archer up hill" he added.
"hooo, you got nice eyes Mr. *laughs* Ar-win." Jonathan said while approaching arwin. "now, what will you do?" he said as he bend over to meet the eyes of arwin who's laying down.
Arthur, out of sympathy for arwin rushed towards jonathan, but jonathan just swayed his sword and sent arthur flying.
"tsk, this kid is a pain in the ass." He said.
Arthurs PoV
"So this is his strenght?" i said to myself after taking a hit, i bet he just swayed his sword. Tsk what a pain, i wish i have my old body so i can beat the shit out of this guy.
I purposely took a hit to measure this guy's strength, who would run ahead without a plan anyways, only fools do that.
Now i know how strong he is, i'll ask arwin and leywin to focus on him since i can't fight him, I signaled arwin to come closer to us so i cant talk and so he did.
"having a little chit chat?" jonathan said.
I said to them that they'll grab jonathan's attention while im busy killing the other 6 bandits leaving only the mages and an archer behind.
They agreed on my plan but the moment i moved my mother grab my hand and said "don't"
I was not able to move after that and-
My father and leonte jumped out of nowhere attacking Jonathan head on, Leywin rammed jonathan causing him to get out of balanced while my father slashed his arm but-
he got shot in the arm by an archer making his attack fails, my father back off a little while leaving leonte and leywin in hands of fighting jonathan.
"ARWIN FIND THE ARCHER" ordered Troy. "OKAY" Arwin replied and then disappeared in a bullet speed.
"LEONTE AND LEYWIN GO FACE THAT BASTARD" Troy ordered them and so they followed it without any hesitation.
"JANE LEND THEM A HAND," Troy said and jane nodded, "ILL DEAL WITH THE REMAINING BANDITS". Troy added.
"you, my boy go run with your mother and Arthur. Protect Her," he said and I nodded right away.
"come back troy" mother said and my father nodded for assurance.
"i want to fight!" i said making my father turn his back on us. "I know your strong Arthur, but this is not a place for you" he replied then patted my head and then pushed me ordering me to go. But i was left there standing with my mother.
"GO ARTHUR GO!" He shouted at me and it made me scared making me follow his order without the will of refusing.
"mother let's go," I said while grabbing her hand as we both run as fast as we could.
But the moment we started running an arrow whistle in the air and pierced my mother's shoulder and-
"MOTHER!!"
