Finding entities

Everette.

"You are insensitive." she reproaches me.

"Well, you're too pious."

"You're a savage."

"You're a kind soul."

"You're a devil..."

"Well, you look like an angel!" I exclaim in exasperation.

"Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow..." intervenes Asmodeus. "There's no need to be offensive."

I run a hand through my hair in exasperation.

"This world is changing you Aisha, I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, you are much more defensive than usual." I say with annoyance.

"You are much more irritable, it's not my fault that you can't tolerate humans, you don't have to take it out on me."

Asmodeus denies with a sigh when he sees that we ignore him completely.

"Why don't you start acting like a demon? Then maybe I won't feel so frustrated when I see that my partner in eternity is a weak defender of humans." I say with irony.

"I can't be the demon you want me to be!" she shrieks in annoyance.

The rage that consumes my soul increases, I see how her expression changes to a terrified one, I am aware that the color of my eyes has changed, my physical body is not very good at containing the power that emanates from me.

I want to go back to Hell, the beast still doesn't appear and that is starting to bother me, if I continue like this I will cause a global massacre in this world, I don't want so many new human souls in Hell, the river of lost souls will end up overflowing and that will be additional work that I don't want to take care of.

"The only thing I ask is that you try to steal a soul, it is not so difficult." I try to regulate my tone of voice. "Even a Celestial could do it, if they weren't so boring, of course."

"There is no reason why I should try to steal a soul."

"You don't need a reason to do evil! You're evil, damn it!" I roar helplessly.

"You are evil." she reminds me. "I am a simple soul that you mindlessly bound yourself to."

"I did it so that you would stop being afraid of everything in Hell. So that you would stop acting like a pathetic being and become something!"

"Everette!" Shameena's voice comes out. "Your claws!"

I watch her for a few seconds and then rest my eyes on my hands, the huge demon claws are now fully visible, I'm pretty sure my fangs are the same.

When Aisha left that human institution I decided that we would have some demonic training, it's always good to release some negative energy and evil, she reluctantly agreed but refused completely to her task, which was to steal a human soul.

We argued for several minutes until Shameena and Asmodeus returned after having disappeared for several human hours, they have kept their distance, limiting themselves to watch the fight spectating, in case it is necessary to restrain me.

I nod tiredly and look at Aisha again, her blue eyes are analyzing me.

"I hate you..." she whispers.

I laugh bitterly and then I approach her and take her possessively by the waist, I press my lips with hers in a frenetic way, she reacts instantly and reciprocates, after a few seconds we separate.

"You hate yourself for not being able to hate me and I hate myself for this bond that connects me to you." I rectify.

Her breathing is accelerated, I separate from her and tell Shameena to watch her, she snorts but does not oppose my orders, Asmodeus approaches me and we walk away from both of them.

"Brother, it's really funny to see you losing your composure." he laughs lightly.

"It's infuriating, you have no idea how much I want to tear her apart, but at the same time I know that if I do I will destroy a part of myself, I feel ridiculous. The mark is ridiculous."

"The prince of Hell feels ridiculous!" he exclaims in mockery. "Never in my entire existence have I ever thought I could witness such a thing."

I roll my eyes and remain silent, I really can't tolerate Asmodeus' jokes for now, I'm burning with the desire to destroy something, and I really prefer it not to be my best friend's face.

Death manifests in front of us.

"I've got it." he says satisfied.

"What is it?" I ask distractedly.

"I have the beast, however I fear I am not powerful enough to contain it when it is released from its physical form." he explains.

I smile with satisfaction at his words.

"Wonderful, just wonderful." I laugh psychopathically. "I urgently need to release some of my darkness, take me to her."

Death nods and transports the three of us to where the beast is, once I analyze the place where we are, the house where Aisha lives enters my field of vision.

"What does this mean?" Asmodeus asks.

"The beast hid its trail with human essence stolen from all the souls contained in the border of life and death, that is why it was not evident at the beginning, but I am convinced that it is here." explains Death. "It took the place of a human named Blair."

Blair, the supposed human mother of Camille, the lost soul from whom Aisha took her place.

The contained power of the infernal beast never surprises me, it manages to disguise its presence right in front of me, it is very difficult to surprise me, but without a doubt the beast has succeeded.

We walk to the interior of the house and enter keeping as quiet as possible, we see it in one of the rooms.

"Get out of here." I ask my companions.

"Why would we do that? You might need help against the beast, we will stay." Asmodeo assures me.

"I will not hold back, I fear that my energy will weaken his, I will take care of this quickly but first I need to get answers."

Death and he watch me for a few seconds and then materialize outside. I enter right where he is and he gives a jump, turns around and looks at me in surprise.

"Everette dear, you are so quiet, I didn't hear you come in." she laughs lightly. "Where is Camille?

"She'll be here soon." I just answer.

She nods slowly.

"I don't want to sound rude, but I really don't know what you are doing here, you are aware that my daughter is not at home, do you want to discuss something with me?" her voice sounds completely normal.

Impressive, truly only a real entity would be able to camouflage himself before me in that way, however now that I pay close attention I notice the irregularities, his presence is not completely stable, his way of moving is forced.

"As a matter of fact, yes." I acknowledge to continue to sit on one of the chairs of the place.

"What is it?"

"Why did you decide to escape from Hell?" I blurt out.

His astonished expression confirms what Death assured me, a nervous laugh comes from his throat and I feel how his demonic defenses begin to weaken.
