I got dibs on you

Half an hour later, Mina and I returned to the living room. The girl's face still had a lingering trace of what had transpired inside her room. Much to my dismay, Yayoi-san was still not back. It's not like I mind waiting for her, but I'm missing her, too.

Of course, I should've followed Mina's suggestion earlier to call her but I didn't. Can I still change my mind?

"Alright, Mina. I'll give her a ring," I said after we settled back on the same couch we were sitting on earlier. The TV was turned on again before taking my phone out of my pocket and dialing Yayoi-san's number.

Mina laughed and teased me, saying, "Finally admitting it, huh? But I'm pretty sure she's okay with it, she's always eager to hear your voice. But Ruki, until when will you keep me locked in your embrace?"
