Duty Calls

“Reira-senpai, Nikka-senpai, are you settling in fine?”

Club hours started. After I walked my girls to their destination, I went to pick up the seniors from the Alchemy Research Club.

As usual, there was no trace of Enomoto around. Whatever that guy was doing, he's really letting down the girl waiting for him to notice her affection.

“I, more or less, settled in. But you… You're always away. And here I thought I'd get to spend more time with you.” Despite not showing any hint of it, Reira-senpai sounded slightly sad.

To think this lovely senior would be this expressive about missing me, I couldn't help but smile. "Well, Reira-senpai, the Literature Club is like a hydra, you know? It's got a lot of heads and all of them need my attention."

"Hydra, huh? So, I ended up becoming just one of the heads? So much for my special status, Ruki-kun." Reira-senpai replied with a playful pout.
