Meeting up with Sachi

I caught the shirt, put it over my head with a grin. “Of course, this isn’t the end, sensei. I still love to be corrected by you.”

She rolled her eyes but as always, the faint flush on her cheeks told me she wasn’t as unaffected as she pretended to be.

With a final huff, she opened the door again, stepping out to hand Sachi her notebook. I caught a glimpse of Sachi’s curious expression, her eyes shifting toward the clubroom and catching my gaze.

It’s unclear if she sensed something was off, but Orimura-sensei’s presence was enough to keep her from pressing further.

“Thanks, sensei,” Sachi said, her voice polite but tinged with that same curiosity. “Is Onoda-kun still in there? I was hoping to talk to him about—”

“He’s just finishing up,” Orimura-sensei interrupted smoothly, her tone leaving no room for argument. “He’ll be out in a minute. Why don’t you head to the main gym? I’ll send him your way.”

Sachi hesitated, then nodded. “Okay. Thanks, sensei.”
