It's been a month since the otherworldly rift appeared on this planet, all of the connections such as radio, television, and all of the electronic gadgets that have a connection with satellite almost gone completely.

the last time I watch the news or television around two weeks ago because, i don't know why but base on my research it is because of chaotic electromagnetic that happen after the rift appear in this planet.

"brother, why it is so hard to gather these particles,?" Erin ask

"Yeah, it is so hard," Eric said supporting what Erin said with his almost give up face.

"It's not like it hard, it's just because you are not focused Eric, while for Erin it may be hard for now because you have to gather it and extract it to make mana so that you can use magic but don't worry after you fill your core around 40% after that it will be as easy as abc" while i make ' you can do it gesture' and walk back at the poarch and sit down at table to do a bit of experiment here and there while watching the kids gather their magic particle.

It have been 3 weeks or so since we start practicing and training while I instructed them using the manual, all of them still studying how to gather and make their core, Erin and Eric were the fastest at making their core and right now they are studying how to gather the surrounding magic particle.

Baby and Al ,they are also working extremely hard to make their core, It is not like it is necessary to make the core but if we don't have the core It's pretty hard to manipulate the surrounding magic particles with all of the incantation to summon the particle.

if you have core you does not have to make an incantation at all ,you can just imagine and it will appear because the magic is within you.

just imagine that you have a bag and when you want to use it you just grab it in your back,simple and easy. the bag is the core, bag to store magic particles and if you don't have the bag you have to take time using the surrounding magic particles because you have to find the magic particles first and then assimilate them with your body and only then you can use qi or mana.

'eve.... what is this mission?help my people?what people?' I ask eve, as far as I know, I'm not a boss and I don't have what they call " my people."

'did it mean my family?' look at this grumpy system, I'm just lazy to think right now.

I smirk, looks like I have a new mission to do and the skill that I will get is ??? skill...

"try to feel and imagine that you make your core or you can also try to imagine you create a ball, try to assimilate the magic with your body and know where the magic particles go ,after that create, you can fill your core with the magic particle"

I explain to them how to make their core. they have their own reaction regarding my instruction.

I'm not to good to explain something to someone but Erin and Eric know my explanation the most because they have lived with me since they are baby but Baby and Al look confused. baby tilts her head with confusion and Al just scratches his head to try to understand what I said.

"Twins explain to them please," I ask them to explain to baby and Al.

"It was like this, first you have to fill the magic particles and then assimilate them with your body, only then you can make and create your core. do both of you understand?" twin speaks in sync and explains to them as simple as possible, they nodded and begin to create their core.

"umm..., big brother why do we have to go outside to make our core, isn't it dangerous here, can't we just do it inside the house" Al ask me pleading with his eyes.isn't he a tsundere???

" Good question Al, it's not like we can't do it inside but... the existence of magic particle is more thick and strong outside than inside the house" I answer his question.

"owhh, okay" awhh he back to become tsundere again.

after 7 hours

" Okay, enough for today, let's go back inside ," I said

"but big bro we're not even finished making the core yet ." Eric said with a disappointed voice that i can almost see a dropping ear appear on his head.

"yeah, yeah half hour more please.. just half more" Erin said while Eric nodded his head vigorously.

"No. when it's dark it will becomes more dangerous outside so let's go inside"

what is with their half, sigh this kid .don't kid usually afraid of the dark, why all of them are so not normal.

" Okay, fine " they weakly drag their body to go inside of the house.

"after this ,wash-up, we eat dinner ,rest, and sleep okay, don't be an owl this night, tomorrow all of you have to wake up early." I said

after that, they take turns to take a shower because the other bathroom doesn't have a roof right now.

the roof was completely blown away by the storm when the rift appear .

then we had dinner in my room, the dining room is just so dark and creepy because i close the light to save the electricity. Luckily, we have a portable stove.

i have a lot of gas can so i don't really mind but electricity is scarce.

even if we have modified solar panel ,the energy that the sun gave is not the same as the energy than the sun before rift gave us.

we can't use energy recklessly and to me the new moon suck all of the sun energy and it is infact become more chilly and colder even though we're in summer.

so fast she just create her core just in one day and what is this barrier skill.

'eve, activate the barrier skill' I want to try what this skill can give me.

[what type, you can just activate, one barrier at each time ] that mean I have 3 types of barrier skill, awesome....

'activate the surrounding barrier skill' I activate the surrounding type because right now the surrounding is just too dangerous with monsters roaming around and mindless, greedy people trying to harass others and many more dangerous stuff.

suddenly I feel fatigued, I guess this skill consumes my HP and MP a lot.

'eve how far is this barrier range can go?' I ask

[ 500 sqft]

'how big the barrier that I can make? and how long can I hold this barrier?"

[depends on your HP and MP, this barrier consumes half of your HP and MP, as long as you want ]

that's a lot of HP and MP but I can hold this barrier as long as I want that's mean it just consumes it one time. it is pretty convenient.

while i cook the dinner i hear eric voice across the room.

"big brother....! Erin fainted" Eric shouts, he shouted because Erin has suddenly collapsed in front of him went he want to exit the bathroom.

Eric, baby and Al look very panicked went I come to get them at the living room on the second floor. there is sympathy, wailing at me because of Erin and there is also some ridiculous question.

'Erin look tired'-Baby

'is Erin die because of exhaustion big brother?'-Al

'SIS!!! NO...!'-Eric

I will carry her to the room, let's go to my room, dinner is ready today menu is spaghetti,eat and the sleep .we will do all of that in my room .so hurry up,go,go,"

THE NEXT DAY

they are training as usual but this time they training until the surrounding is dark because of the barrier that i create around the backyard so it will safe from any harmful creature outside the barrier.

this barrier also make our house invisible to any other creature .Al ask me why we can training outside until dark and my answers is 'it's my power, so don't worry'

after that Eric also successfully forming his core and that all because 3 days of his hard working and focus.
