CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE – GUARDIAN OF THE STONE KEEPERS (1)

Scarlette pushed back the attack coming from the portal as she shoved off the unconscious Mikhael to Jeffrey.

She only noticed that the whole Manor had activated the Magic Barrier around the whole area so that no one would be bothered by the events that is happening.

'It would save us the trouble and not draw attention from the civilians. It would cause problems if they knew that the City Lord's Manor is under attack.'

The crimson-haired woman was impressed with how things work and she concluded that this magic barrier had a detection spell if something happens that would automatically activate the barrier.

'However, what will happen next? If this battle is over? How can we explain the situation without arousing suspicion?'
