Golden Phoenix Trading Company, LTD

Plutus looked at the lances and opened his divine panel, where he saw an arrow button to a second screen.

The second screen read [Realm Panel]. The panel listed all of his holdings in his realm, in addition to his divine company Golden Phoenix Trading Company, LTD.

He looked for a specific company he owned: Divine Market. Divine Market was the divine predecessor of Earth's online companies like eBay, Amazon Marketplace, and Alibaba Marketplace.

Divine Market was an e-commerce platform that enables third-party sellers to sell new or used products.

He casually shopped the site, and with his near-infinite wealth, he purchased Zeus' thunderbolts from Hephaestus and an array from his mother.

The items cost over 1,000,000 drachmae, an amount most gods could afford.

When the demonic lances hit the array, they transformed into maize and gently fell to the ground.

Will flew into the air and sent the thunderbolt hurdling toward Thanatos.

"This isn't possible. The upper gods are barred from returning," he shouted.

The thunderbolt ripped through the body separating his right arm from his body.

Plutus bought more and more pricey divine weapons and armor.

Thanks to his divine company's success, he made more coin per second, than he could ever spend.

While he wasn't the greatest warrior-like Aries or has Athena's battle strategy or strongest like Thanatos. But he could purchase divine mercenaries, Athena's battle strategies, and Apollo's divine winged golems. Which he did.

In Thanatos' mind, there was no comprehensible way he'd lose.

But there was no way he could avoid such attacks. Thanatos could feel impending danger, as a group of divine angelic mercenaries arrived to fight Thanatos.

After reading Athena's battle strategy, Will's brain went into an unprecedented hyperdrive as he studied the best move to counter the situation.

In an instant, Will knew learned he could defeat Thanatos with a six-step attack pattern.

The attack would ultimately cost Will his life, but he'd save Terra from Thanatos' tyranny.

The first step was to collide swords against Thanatos' lance. Immediately Will felt a searing pressure on his back muscles as he began the attack patterns.

The second step was to empty his mana pool. So, he unleashed a powerful, herculean slash on Thanatos.

While Will fought Thanatos, the mercenaries and golem distracted Thanatos.

The third step made Will refill his mana pool. Will strain every muscle in his body to its limit as he cast [Earth Gathering Array] with his life force.

An array the size of a satellite began gathering earth mana below him and continuously sent a beam of earth mana into his body.

Will's mana pool kept filling up his body, to the point it stretched like a balloon that was about to pop.

The overfill of mana made golden cracks form on the surface of his body. He could feel his meridians and mana arteries tearing apart.

The last Will experienced so much pain, was when Zeus beat him for denying Hercules, his wish.

The fourth step required he transfer mana to his sword which began to tremble with immense power and an overwhelming golden and brown aura of holy and earth mana, which were enhanced and expressed in one beautiful shimmering green sword.

Thanatos could feel the abnormal power growing in Plutus and knew that there was no escaping that move.

Even at his peak, he might have been able to survive this coming attack head-on.

He began fighting the mercenaries and golems to create an opening to flee. He wanted to be as far away as possible from the suicidal attack.

The fifth step was to focus on his attack. Closing his eyes Plutus mediated.

He smiled brightly as he accepted his fate, he had no regrets about how this war. He gladly welcomed death and his eternal rest.

He breathed in, and time felt like it slowed an eternity.

He breathed out and calculated his attack. He mapped the path his sword would travel down to the milliseconds.

He breathed in again and saw the damage that would spread, but the former capital city would be safe. No harm would come to any humans or demi-humans.

He breathed out a second time and felt an exploding warmth about to burst from his body.

When he finally opened his eyes, his pupils locked on Thanatos and completed step six, eruption.

A volcano of holy and earth power erupted from Plutus' body, killing himself, Thanatos, the mercenaries, and the golems.

The explosion was so strong and so powerful that it unleashed a shockwave so powerful that it shifted the Rhaziesian Empire's climate for 1,000 years.

Kilometers away from the former Rhaziesian Empire capital, the guards are the battlement was blown off by the sonic blast.

Plutus' attack created a circular crater, 10 kilometers in area.

The crater stopped just before the capital's walls. The attack was so strong it left the humans and demi-humans bewildered and fearful.

"Quickly, a division of soldiers follow me," Sage Ming shouted as he began flying to the center of the crater.

He wanted to check on Will's status. But when they arrived the center was empty.

Sage Ming felt an indescribable feeling that Will died, he could feel discipline's aura dissipating on the wind.

He knelt and cried. His sadness overwhelmed him.

At the time of Will's death, Elizabeth felt an ominous feeling. She knew, not how, that Will was injured or dead.

The feeling was too great to hide, and Elizabeth became overwhelmed with emotion. Edward rushed to his mother's side, comforting her.

Mother Tiamat, King Druker Flameworn, The Queen Sylvania of Yllamoira, Sea Witch, and Savage Wolf, Bradley, and Rupert all felt an absence of Will's presence.

It felt like a great light had gone out in the world.

"Thanatos is dead. The Third Schism is over. We are victorious!" Dracul shouted.

Cheers went up from the army. The war was officially over. The Allied Army would soon be no more.

Crown Prince Lukas and Kallista weren't fools. They saw Elder Thaddeus, King Druker Flameworn, The Queen Sylvania of Yllamoira, Sea Witch, and Savage Wolf crying as well. There could only be one reason these people would mourn at this location.

Their master was the golden god who battled and killed Thanatos. He died to save their lives.

Crown Prince Lukas stood resolute, he grabbed a torch and went to the epicenter.

"Hail the victorious dead!" the prince shouted.

"Hail the victorious dead," chanted the crowd.

"We stand on hallowed ground. From whence our savior came, we do not know.

But we do know he vanquished an evil god beset to enslave and kill us.

Our savior fought so our races may live. He died for our sake.

For our savior so loved to word, he gave his life so we may live.

Tonight, we shall remember those that gave their blood to defend this world. They did not die in vain.

Tomorrow we shall build a monumental to honor the golden god, so his deed shall be eternally remembered!"
