2. PREPARATIONS

These days have passed so fast, as if something was going to happen. On Friday all the preparations were made to wait for our embedded men. Many will arrive today, Saturday, and others tomorrow morning. Thanks to the years that I have been a slave, I have gained a lot of speed so I finished cleaning the 400 rooms of the pack house. It Looks more like a mansion than a house. But anyway, who am I to judge?
All the rooms are as clean as ever and the house is finely clean and impeccable. The house has been finely decorated as well as the garden for the ceremony and the vaile room is being finished to accommodate. The omegas that Alpha Collins don't know how to cook and are bad at cutting vegetables. So I have had to teach them and thanks to the moon goddess they have not mistreated or beaten me. Besides, they have been very kind and good to me.
They even helped me to bind my wounds because last night they took me to the dungeons and used me as a test object in their experiments. Last night after having silver knives thrown into my body, I was forced to drink wolfsbane. When they saw that I would not have my voice they pulled my toenails to make me open my mouth. Support the urge to scream in pain but that fell short because last night they did something new, last night when they saw that I did not open my mouth they scraped the skin on the soles of my feet, my wounds are severe and I cannot walk well without feeling the stabbing pain that makes me want death.
When they ripped the skin off my feet, I screamed and they held my mouth open and put a glass full of wolfsbane and poured it into my mouth. I felt like dying and passed out. So, the morning I woke up I was outside the dungeon with my feet bloody. When I wanted to stand up I felt the urge to vomit and remembering what had happened last night, I didn't hold back the desire and vomited without fear.
I have been tortured in so many ways such as whipping on the soles of the feet, exposing myself to cold weather and ares. Electrocutions to my body with the electric prod or other instruments, also electric shocks on wet ground. Stabbing or cuts in my body, they have introduced nasty substances like salt into my mouth, making me drink wolfsbane. They have injected me with many poisons and they have also injected me with silver countless times. Put out cigarette butts in my body. Pluck my hair with tweezers, and a thousand other things. I think I am immune to almost everything.
I heard Alpha Collins mention something about a head crusher, he said he wanted to see how well it worked and that he would test it this Monday, with an experimental object.
I only have until Monday to live. I'm not afraid, actually I think I'm a little happy that he decided to kill me. I come out of my thoughts when one of the omegas who help me in the kitchen asks me what we will prepare for lunch.
We were looking for recipes on Google in one of the omegas phones and I told them that we could make some "One-Pot Spicy Thai-Inspired Noodles''. This noodle dish is the sweet and spicy sauce made with brown sugar, soy sauce, Sriracha, and ginger. The recipe is totally vegetarian and packed with veggies, but you can always add your favorite protein to bulk it up". They nodded.
Also one of them says that we can prepare a "15-Minute Sheet Pan Chicken Fried Rice. with pre-cooked rice and toss it onto a baking sheet with diced boneless skinless chicken, frozen veggies, and drizzle with soy sauce. When you remove it from the oven, add some stovetop scrambled eggs. Also we can prepare the Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers". Others say
Then I saw one that seems to be really good. It's called "Easy Swedish Meatballs". And is made of "beef and pork meatballs". We can serve them with "egg noodles or mashed potatoes, and you can always freeze the leftovers for a lazy night". They all say it sounds good and we all started getting the ingredients and then cooking.
After we got done, the omegas went to place everything in the buffet and they also helped me to clean up the kitchen. Everything was going smoothly for the first time in all my life. They all entered the dining room to eat, they all talked and started conversations with their friends and family. They finished lunch and dispersed, leaving the kitchen a suckling pig.
After we finished cleaning in the kitchen and throughout the house, we went back to the kitchen and the omegas had prepared food.
"You have to eat, if not, you won't survive for long. You haven't eaten in days and if you continue like this, you will die soon. You are my first friend, oh so I consider you. For us, it would be very painful to see you die. So please eat and we will make sure that nobody comes so you can eat. " Annika, one of the omegas told me and I looked at the others and they all nodded. It feels strange that someone who barely knows you cares about you and is already protecting you. I want her and the other girls to be a reason to fight and endure all this pain.
"Do you really consider me her friend? I ask them.
"Darling, we are all your friends. You know the pain, the suffering, the anguish. You are like our superhero who has fought in silence and endured all the hatred and evil of this pack. For us it would be an honor that you accept us as your friends, please." Annika says leaving me speechless. I can't believe someone wants to be my friend. I didn't notice how wet my cheeks were because of the tears that I thought I had lost.
These tears were different from all the ones I have my entire life, these tears were of pure happiness and joy.
I didn't say anything but to run and hug them all. For the first time I'm learning how it feels to hug and being hugged. They all were really happy to be with me.
After eating, we hear noises outside and Galina says she will go and spy who they were. Sometime later she came back saying that Alphas and other packs were arriving at our pack.
The omegas, Annika, Galina, Kira, Mei, and Jia were directing the guests to their rooms and I was preparing teas for them and some goodies.
We started preparing dinner at 4:30 so we could get enough time to get done. This time we cooked three times more than usual. We cooked "Tomato Spinach Ravioli Bake, Buffalo Chicken Zucchini Boats, Shakshuka With Feta, Skillet Lasagna, Sheet Pan Fajita Salmon With Cilantro Lime Butter, Slow Cooker Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya, Coconut Curry Shrimp, Turkey Mexican Pasta, Garlicky Orzo Shrimp Scampi, Easy Ramen Stir Fry". We got done cooking at 7:00 and that gave us one hour to place all the food in the buffet. After placing all the food and stuff they would need to eat and then we place the apple cider with cinnamon, punch, and also water to accompany dinner.
It was 8:00 when everyone came down to dinner, there was a large crowd that for a moment thought that the food would not be enough. So we ran to the kitchen and started preparing "Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Chili Dogs, Vegetarian Lasagna, Short Ribs With Creamy Polenta, BBQ Beef Nachos". We made sure to cook six times more than we had done. It took us 45 minutes to prepare everything and take it to the buffet to replace the food that was already finished.
I am not a chef but my years of slavery have helped me to prepare the best meals. The old cocinera died when I was eight years old and since then I have been forced to take charge of cooking and the little thing. Since I was 8 years old, I have been cooking for 200 people and since then I have had to learn to cook everything.
I'm glad the food fits 700 people. Only the Moon Goddess knows if we will make it out alive tomorrow. Tomorrow we will have to cook for about two thousand to three thousand people, according to what Alpha Collins said. A hoarse, high-pitched voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Damn Alpha Collins. Your chef knows how to cook. It's the best food I've ever eaten in all of my 54 years of life." By his tone and assurance, I conclude that he is an alpha.

They all laughed and got done having dinner. All of them went back to their room. They have all gone to their rooms, and those who went out for a run have already returned and gone to sleep. I will go to the lake in the depths of the forest to wash my body and my hair. Annika has given me a pair of shorts and a low-cut black shirt. She said that the shirt fits her body and that I would look very pretty in her. It is not long before 12 at night. Tonight there is a full moon, and it is illuminated. The good thing about this lake is that no one can see it from the pack house and it is outside the pack territory.
The only place they can see it is on the road, but no one passes at this time on the road and if they did, it would have to be a wolf to see me from a distance.
