Chapter 34: Rescuing Slaves

~Tatsumi POV~

Ok dealing with the pest is dealt with time to see if I can find out more about the Capitol.

As we were walking towards the crowd, I noticed that one of the stores sold slaves in the area I was already disgusted at the idea of people selling each other off.

However, I was currently already dealing with my own problems till I noticed three girls I saw from the anime.

While they weren't mentioned once in the anime, they were at least shown in their screen time once they have arrived in the Capital somewhere around the same time as me.

If I recall correctly their names should be the pink hair girl Air, the blonde one Fal, and the blue-haired one Luna.

Looking at the three they are only wearing rags on them and looked scared but then I see a group of people enter inside looking at them with malicious intentions.

Recalling from my memories those three were bought and resold to the Enthusiasts.

Expressing a scowl on my face Echidna noticed and asked me in a curious voice, "Tatsumi what seems to be the problem? You seem very angry from viewing the slave shop?"

Shaking my no towards her I told Echidna in a brash tone, "No but it looks like we might have to make a quick change of plans though but the original plan wouldn't change by much were just getting to get some help cleaning is all."

Echidna raised her eyebrow at this but Beatrice chimes her response to what Echidna now understood since our [Formal Contract] also allows us to know what the other is thinking whenever need be, "Those people that Tatsumi pointed out are Enthusiasts those people have a habit of breaking down young girls mentally or physically disgusting creatures in fact."

Echidna opens up her [Gospel of Wisdom] and finds the chapter in her book about them and their fate as she expresses a cold frown, "Here it is chapter 456, The Enthusiasts lived in a big mansion in The Empire's capital. When Bach brought them Air, Fal, and Luna, they proceeded to subject them to torture and humiliation, resulting in the deaths of two of the girls. The surviving girl, Air, eventually managed to gain her master's adoration and was allowed to go outside, where she contacted Night Raid. Later, the assassins infiltrated the mansion and killed everyone inside it."

Yup.

Betty and Echidna got it right on the money.

Those people are real scum and sociopaths to their core I have no reason to let them live.

The Enthusiasts of the Capital were a group of men who bought small girls from poor villages to break them down after seeing their happiest faces.

At some point, they worked with a slave broker and formerly named Bach that sold these girls off to them for money.

Echidna soon glares at this expressing her witch smile at the location as she closes her book, we all went towards that slave shop.

As we enter inside we can already hear the Enthusiasts group and Bach already made the deal as we hear Bach says to them in a happy voice, "Alright then these young girls are Air, Fal, and Luna I hope you gentleman take very good care of them."

Bach was a young man with light brown hair and amber eyes he wore a formal suit with an orange jacket and tie, a pinstripe shirt, and black pants with suspenders and on his chest, he had a mark proving that he used to be a slave.

One of the Enthusiasts men says while licking his lips at the scared and chained up girls and gaged, "Oh don't worry Bach, lick… we will take extra good care for them I just want to see their expressions break."

Hearing enough of their crap I glare towards them and gave them a command, "Really in that case then how about handing them over to me you filthy trash bag."

Once the group saw us, they completely ignored me as they look towards Echidna and Beatrice with smiles on their faces.

Disgusting I didn't need my Authority to know what they were thinking.

Bach seeing this opportunity decided to try and sell my friends off his hands, "Oh hello sir how about we make a deal how about you sell me those two ladies from yo- "

"Roar…"

No longer hearing this anymore I began to change into my [1st Evolved Form] by default after getting the hang of changing my body structure as the two expressed a cold look and flare up their magic causing the men to fall on their knees from the pressure.

Now they look at us with fear in their eyes and more so to me in my [1st Evolved Form] as I began to belittle them in an angry voice, "Funny when I heard that the Capital had monsters in the form of humans I wondered what will happen when they met a 'real' monster like me? I guess they still feel fear, right?"

Without any warning, I go towards the three girls as they look at me with fear but as soon as I cut down their chains and rip off their gags it looks like they seem to calm down.

But that was when I heard one of the men from the group yell at me with what little courage, he says to me, "You… you freak! You won't get away with this you hear! Once you're found out we will have the Capital – "

However, I interrupted him at that moment as I used my new reward [Void Maker] I got from mission to Re: Zero on him that silence everyone in the room, "Or they'll do what? The Capital to me is an insect with the powers I wield and the strength I hold here let's make an example out of your men [Void Maker: Black Hole]."

Using the Taboo Tattoo [Void Maker] is one of the greatest tattoos known it has the power to create miniature black holes or voids that instantly swallow up anything in its path and since it is a trigger-less tattoo meaning it does not require any prerequisites to activate.

Once the [Void Maker: Black Hole] was summoned in front of the man that had the courage to talk to me he was instantly swallowed up along with the rest of his men as the black hole grew bigger to how I want to.

[Void Maker: Black Hole] swallows up the men and the pieces of the floor they were in as I cancel out my ability only leaving behind a small partial sphere-like shape crater on the floor as Bach was now fearful of me.

As I got closer to him I turn back into my human form again showing my Tyrants eyes to him as he looks in fear of me, "Now then Bach you could've been someone to help these girls but instead became what you feared, for that sin I have a punishment just for you."

Bach hearing this he grows more scared of me as he backs away from me as the three girls took their chance to receive their belongings, "No stay away from me monster!! Get away from me see look at my chest I was a slave too! You have to see why I needed to do what was needed because…"

Shutting him up by grabbing his mouth I gave him a cold expression with my eyes devoid of life to him as I reply to him, "There a few things that piss me off real quick here Bach slavery, abuse of people, abandonment, killing innocent, and most of all hurting kids. As for you Bach you pissed me the hell off with all of them now it's time for you to pay for your sins."

With that, I used my [Authority of Lust: Variation and Change] to transform him into a pile of flesh as he was still conscious Beatrice took her chance to use [Minya] to get rid of him for good.

With that done with I see that the girls return to their normal attires at least, they have their clothing again.

Air had long pink hair with her bangs hanging just above her pink eyes and she wore a pink raincoat with a matching hat and boots.

Fal had shoulder-length golden blonde hair and amber eyes as she wore an orange raincoat and a pair of matching boots.

Luna had neck-length dark blue hair and light blue eyes and she wore a blue raincoat with bunny ears-like attachments on the hood and a pair of matching boots.

As they appeared before us Echidna was the first to ask them what they do now, "So then Air, Fal, and Luna what are you going to do now that you're free again?"

Luna immediately the first from the group was the first to bow her head to me as she surprises the girls, "Sir please allow us to be under your protection for the time being after witnessing your power! We will be the useful slaves to you Lord!"

Fal looked at her companion in shock was the first to express her attitude to her friend, "Luna! What the hell! Why do we need to – "

However she was cut off when Luna mention the facts of their predicament with a harsh glare in her eyes, "Air and Fal listen up and be realistic here. Since we have the slave crest burned to our chest, we can't be free in the Empire unless we want to be brought to the Slave House again, if someone sees it. We need someone strong to help us like this guy here and besides, would this person let us live after seeing his power."

Clever girl.

At least Luna here has a good head on her shoulders unfortunately she didn't use it but instead got caught.

Fal seems to be the impatient and rude type of a person it seems judging from her expression but remembering correctly she was the fighter in the group so she could be useful.

Air seems to be the shy one of the groups, but I wouldn't underestimate her will though she was tortured but had enough mental fortitude to devise a revenge plan to help her friends to ask for Night Raid's help but caused suicide in the end by poisoning.

But Luna is right about me letting off go freely plus I do need some help when I get Aria home.

Smirking towards them I made sure to get to the point in a gentle tone, "Luna is right you know I have no attention of letting you three go now since you saw my power. But as it so happens, I do need a few maids to get our new home situated soon and I for one don't like to do the cleaning work and neither does my two friends as well."

Echidna and Beatrice both agreed to that one at least.

Like seriously Echidna has a problem of going around learning new stuff either in her underwear or in the nude whenever she wants to learn something new!

And Beatrice is just lazy at times but does clean her library but otherwise, she is the same as Echidna concerning their laziness.

But that was when Beatrice bonks me on the head with her books, "Hey! I'll have you know I'm the very same laziness as my mother I suppose!"

Like, mother and daughter, I suppose.

But next, I hear Air say to me in a nervous voice to speak up, "Uh… the does that mean you will pay us for our duties then."

I nodded to her and it seems to me that they agreed to follow me for work for the time being now with that done with I ask them another question, "Say you were previous servants with Bach correct? Then that means his home is currently empty at this time, right?"

When I mention the idea Luna seems to get the understanding as she asks to confirm my answer, "Actually yes during our time as his servants he didn't have any guards or anyone in his part of the lands so it should be empty at this moment."

"Clap!"

Clapping my hands at this it looks like I found a new piece of land for free and an empty home ready to be replaced, "Clap! Alright in that case can you lead us back to his home because as of this moment his home and land now belongs to me. With this done with its time to check it ok?"

Seeing my bold claim, it definitely surprised them as for Echidna and Beatrice smiled at this finally getting a place to stay.

Now it was time to see what was Bach home like so that I can replace it with the mansion I got from Regulus during my time in Re: Zero.
