6. Age 7 Plans, Then Time-Skip

A couple days later after some more tutoring sessions I found myself relaxing for the weekend. Yet I had plans to learn two charms, the stasis charm, and the undetectable extension charm. After some snooping around in one of our mansions bigger library's I finally found some book and notes on them.

It took longer than I thought it would but after some hard work I got them down, and finally learned them. I also wondered if the difficulty was because both spells had a little to due with both time, and space. My knowledge though was not enough to come to a conclusion, so that is something for the future, to research.

Anyway after learning the spells I now had a bag which was bigger on the inside than the outside, and could store much more than before. I would be keeping this bag on me, or near me at all times, with lots of security charms I had learned in my charms lessons.

I also named it the bag of holding, because it was a reference that I liked. So by keeping it on me at all times, besides bathing, I could keep it better hidden, and secured. I also had a camouflage charm on the bag whenever it would be in plain sight, so only I would remember where I placed or hid it.

The reason behind making my bag of holding was too be able to make more, whenever I wanted, and to store important things. So I made another two bags of holding, one for a secondary storage, and another as a backup.

The first bag of holding was made for one purpose, to collect my blood and put it under a stasis charm to store it. This would do two things, allow me a backup supply of blood if I ever got injured, and allow me to slowly stockpile large amounts of blood for something I had planned to test when I had enough blood stockpiled.

Now I had to collect some blood, after I transfigured some working syringes, I then had my house elf permanently transfigure some based off the ones I had designed and transfigured, then I dismissed my house elf, and stored the extra syringes away.

I had never drawn my own blood before, but I knew how. I tied a string around my arm and waited till my veins became more pronounced. Then I took the syringe that I had submerged in alcohol and lined up the needle with the vein and pushed the needle into my skin, which felt like a sharp pinch.

I then withdrew some blood and then the syringe, after storing the blood in a stasis charm in my bag of holding. I started doing this once every week.

A coupe of months passed and I had gotten used the the weekly blood drawings.

I had also noticed that my telekinisis spell had almost become ingrained in my mind, I was able to cast it easily and with little focus, almost like it had became a part of me. I was glad for this, but also intrigued. I came up with a theory to explain it, the theory was that affer casting and using a spell repeatedly for a long time, it would become almost natural or second nature to use.

I had used the telekinisis spell for 7 years now, it and 'Lumos' being the first spells I used. So these gave me a time-table of how long a spell becomes second nature. So after 7-10 yrs of casting a spell repeatedly every day for 7-10 years it would become second nature. I gave it an extra three years for some leeway, plus I was a child with an adults mind, so that gave me an advantage.

To see if my theory had any merit, I started to cast 'Lumos' in different ways and situations, and it was easily cast every time, even when I distracted myself.

This didn't mean my theory was one hundred percent proven, but I would need more time to test and and learn more spells, and to try to make them second nature.

I had already been casting 'alohomora' for years, and occulemency i used more than any other spell, accessing my mindscape had become easier and faster, and I hadn't really noticed, but I had been training in it shortly after being born, when I realized I was in the Harry Potter world.

So only left 'alohomora' which I had been training and using for a few years, but I should add another.

All those charms I have been learning, I can use, but it takes a little bit to recall the chant, it's use, and then to cast it. Also there were a lot of them.

So I chose one that I thought had alot of use the floating charm 'Wingardum Levi'Osa'.

Now I just had to practice it for 7-10 yrs.

I also decided I wanted a spell to use 24/7 because it would be useful, plus I wanted a constant reminder of my magic, because I still sometimes thought this was a dream come true.

I chose telekinisis, because of its use, and how it had become almost second nature now, and I wondered if using it constantly 24/7 would allow it to improve, or improve my use of it.

So I picked up 2 flat white pebbles, then I had my house elf permanently charm them with a camouflage charm. I then got to work, I would grab each pebble and using telekinesis rotate them around my body, like the planets rotating around the sun.

This was difficult at first and I would drop them when I lost focus, but that's when I noticed using my telekinises I was able to see them, even though they were camouflaged. This meant my telekinisis allows me to perceive objects that are close to it.

I wondered if this was always the case and I didn't notice it or if it's because of my improvement of using the spell?

Putting that aside, I would need to train it, but it would have limited use, as I was only able to use telekinesis in a 2 meter radius around me(6' ft.). Yet it was better than nothing, and now I should work on my telekinetic sense, and my telekinetic range, but that would most likely be a slow and steady increase.

Back to rotating the camouflaged pebbles around my body, at first I did it around my; torso, then legs, feet, head, arms, and hands. I found it easiest to rotate it around my hands, or to even close the palm of my hand and have them rotate inside my closed fist, but that took precision and focus, as the space inside of my closed fist was very small.

So I had them usually rotate around my hand when I was doing other stuff, around my neck when writing, and I would also add rotating the pebbles in the small space of my closed fist, until I could do it while doing other tasks.

I also wondered if using a new spell 24/7 would cut down the time to make it second nature to 3-5 years, but I couldn't yet hold two spells constantly for a 24/7 hour period, so I would have to come back to that idea later in time.

Besides my usual training and tutoring, and pool time for relaxing after training my mind and body, I would also work on this 24/7 the first couple of weeks, I sometimes had to stop because I was too tired, but I eventually got use to maintaining my telekinisis 24/7.

Like this the years passed

[One Year Later] [1865]

After learning Charms for an entire year, I was able to talk my parents and my tutor into adding another practical magic class. I chose Runes, they were a lot more diffucult than I thought, each engraving, inscription, or carving would take precision. I was able to create a simple light emitting rune chain, that chained together 5 runes; one rune to store and use power(ambient magic), one for that power to be converted to light, one for an on switch, one for an off switch, and one for linking them and the power source together, so the power would flow to all the runes, except for when the power off rune would cut the flow of power. When the light emitting rune chain was powered off, it would collect power and store it, until it was ready to use, once the storage capacity of the rune was full, it would bleed back the excess power to the surroundings, keeping it full, while not overloading it and causing an explosion.

I decided to use the storage runes to collect ambient mana for future use, but I didn't collect too much in one rune, and I stored them in separate places, with spells, charms, and runes for safety, and anti-explosion, and anti-fire.

At the end of the year I was able to carve and combine 20 runes, my tutor told me for others this number would be around 10. Yet even with my increased talents she told me that improving with runes was a slow and steady thing, and to get used to it, otherwise you would most likely end up blowing yourself up, and if you did survive, it would be with some missing limbs.

I enjoyed having all my limbs and body intact, plus with my adult mind, anytime I would grow frustrated with my progress in runes, I was able to take myself away and go for a swim to cool myself off.

I soon lost myself in the pursuit of more magical knowledge and another year passes.

[Two years later [1866]

At age 9 I was able to talk my parents and tutor into adding another practical magic class, especially when I pointed out I hadn't blown myself up with my study of runes. This time I chose potions, because one of my projects included a theory I had for polyjuice potion. I also had other reasons, such as it being too useful to pass up learning the knowledge and use of potions for myself. One of those reasons was the animagus potion I had wanted to study it, and all things about the animagus magic. I had found it was like most fanfics, you could brew a complicated potion with a small ritual spell that only worked at certain times, or you could self transfigure yourself part by part until you got it right, or you could meditate and find your inner animal, or animals and then choose which one suited you best, but all these had the limitations of only having one form.

The reason I was researching it wasn't to become an animagus, because I didn't want one form, I wanted every form, so this is one of my many projects to improve magic that I know could be better, but the rest of the Wizarding World is too lazy or corrupt to improve it.

I also wanted to see if I could reverse engineer the animagus potion to turn an animal into a human, or give it a second human form.

All of these projects would take some time though until I got anything close to a complete working piece of magic, that was safe.

Pretty soon another year had passed.

[Three Years Later] [1867]

At age 10 I decided to take a year long break from my studies, as I was starting Hogwarts next year, I had also talked my parents into a 6 month family vacation, and a 6 month personal vacation for me, with some of the house elves checking up on me periodically. Also I would talk to them every night on a magic communication mirror they had gifted me.

I talked them into this because I wanted to have my own vacation time to explore, and also I had collected enough supplies to try out one of my more dangerous projects, plus if it succeeded, I didnt want anyone to know of it.

So for the first six months of vacation I had talked my parents into a going to a tropical island, Tahiti.

Besides how warm and relaxing it was, it also made a good place for a vacation house, for us to use when we wanted to get away. It wasn't even that hard to convince my parents, they loved the place, plus when you bought a plot of land, you actually owned it, instead of renting it for the rest of your life, and having to pay property tax for the rest of your life, even when you're retired.

I also used some of the money that I had hidden away, I found magic an easy way to get rich, all I had to do was ask my house elf to get me some diamonds or gold bars, then I used it to buy some properties, the prices were much cheaper in the future, it was a good investment, always good to invest in land, and I know it would become an even more popular vacation resort in the future.
