Elizabeth soon finished with washing the dishes and they both, she and her Uncle began to saunter in the direction of the Fireplace.

The time of day was by now late in the afternoon.

As they continued to walk in the narrow hallway towards the sitting room where the Fireplace was stationed, Beth's eyes travelled through the big open window right ahead and took in the reddening colour of the sky.

Evening time was neigh. Elizabeth concluded.

By the side of the Fireplace, a long bench was empty and waiting. 

Mr Harrow was the first one to sit before Beth joined him; seated beside him.

Basking in the little comforts that this wooden chair could afford her at this time, Elizabeth established her emerald gaze on the slowly dying embers in the Fireplace.

There, she stayed; at peace with herself.

Mr Harrow watched her stay silent for much longer.

Finally, he was ready to allow the "Talk" to happen.
