Harsh Truth.

"Finally, we're here."

Elizabeth exclaimed softly, the minute the coachman pulled the horses to a halt upfront.

Looking out the window just now, she was able to behold how they'd reached their overall destination; the Harrows' home.

"My Lady.. "

It was Mirelinda who had just addressed her like so. Beth tilted her head to settle her eyes on the girl.

"I believe it's best if I waited for your return, whilst seated here in the carriage," she told Elizabeth.

The fact that Mirelinda had mentioned the words that attuned to Beth's own inner consideration, offered the latter some kind of relief. Reason being that Elizabeth could not guess how the situation could get with her family inside the house and as such, she did not wish for Mirelinda to have to witness that. Yet, she'd found it truly herculean to break the talk to the girl herself that she would like for her to remain seated in the carriage pending her return from the house.
