"He is the large-stature demon who spoke before the start of the battle," Crow explained.

Kai turned his head sideways in a curious manner, "I didn't see him."

"He is Aldan's superior," Lloyd added. He didn't feel the need to explain who Aldan was.

Kai and Lloyd shared a silent moment between themselves. Lloyd also knew that Kai knew it was him back there. The witches hadn't noticed Lloyd's presence mid-battle. But Crow had no qualms about it since Lloyd had gone ahead and killed three incubi.

What they wanted wasn't to actually win a mere battle. Their plan was to kill Lady Naamah's father and disrupt the demons' hold in the underground.

Kai's purple eyes glowed in anticipation and he spoke with a mocking tone, "What about him? Do I eat him? Is that it?"

Lloyd grinned as he saw the change of character in Kai. At the moment, he didn't mind the lack of respect. 'Let's make use of you some more,' Lloyd thought.
