They had finally gone to their room and Alexandra had slept so soundly for the first time that she slept for more than half a day. She hadn't found a bed for two days, and before that she could only sleep in semi-passable beds on their journey to above.

Kai was awake and mulling over the book Aethereom left the imprint of, in his mind. Even though it seemed to be an alien language to Kai, he could read it and understand the words. According to the book, these spells couldn't just be cast with a few words spilling out of your mouth.

Kai thought it made sense, how stupid would it be if all you needed was to correctly pronounce the words and it all just worked out? Did that mean some expert at tongue-twister or a fast rapper would be invincible enemies?
