Elemental Masters

"I understand that you have never left these places, right?"

Safar was right on point. Neither as Elias, nor as Feron he did go far away from the village. Not that he had any opportunity, though. Life in these places isn't exactly conducive for recreational travel, especially in Elias's case, where survival was his main priority. Of course, he could just go on a trip, but his knowledge of local geography was practically non-existent. And without that knowledge, it was easy to walk into a dangerous place and stay there forever.

"Is it that obvious?"

Elias smiled wryly.

"It is. You don't even know that true warriors are the lowest tier of people with superhuman abilities."

Hearing that somewhat surprised Elias. Although he had heard system proposing that this world is most likely magical in nature, he did not think much of it. Mainly because he did not have much time for that.

"Listen close, I'll tell you about it. As I said before, there is only a limited number of people who can become a true warrior. Only one in ten is lucky enough to be born talented. How many of them do you think are talented enough to step past True Breath? You are very talented to reach Strength Building at your age."

Elias barely held himself from rolling his eyes.

*What would he think if I told him I am actually the least talented person in the entire world?*

"Look at me. I am almost forty years old and I did not manage to step past the True Breath in all those years. Do you think I did not try? I did, but most of those who reach True Breath, actually stay at that level for the rest of their lives."

Safar shook his head.

"And even if you are capable of becoming a Ferocious Warrior, someone who can take on deadly beasts head on, you are still not at the peak of the food chain. There is an existence way more terrifying. They call themselves Elemental Masters. They are capable of changing winds and causing earthquakes, shooting fire from their fingertips and calling down rains. Even though a True Breath warrior can be as strong as two men, what does it mean in front of such power?"

[Ding!]

[Setting up a new task.]

Task: Get more information on Elemental Masters

Requirements: Unknown

Rewards: Unknown

*System even set up a task by itself? Makes sense, these Elemental Masters should have the information I need to adapt the system to use magical energy in an efficient manner.*

If Elias could find information on how one becomes an Elemental Master, he would have a fair chance of solving all his problems. Also, even if he does not solve the issue of his body being unable to process the energy in herbs, it does not mean he couldn't just learn the ways of Elemental Masters.

"I do not know the extent of powers Elemental Masters have, but I know for sure that they are stronger than any warrior I've seen."

Elias nodded.

"Thank you for your explanation, Safar. As for how you can help me, my idea is... "

-----------------------------------------------------

In one of the better residences of the Fierce Tiger Tribe, six old men gathered. Those old men were the elders of the tribe. It was evident that every single one of them was of venerable age, however they all were in good physical shape. Currently they all were in a heated debate.

"Sovsem, your son was supposed to be watching Calak's son! Now we don't know if the kid is alive or dead!"

An old man with bushy eyebrows said. Hearing these words, Sovsem's lips twitched as he cursed his son in his mind for not taking this matter seriously.

"Calm down, Napu. He did, and he provided me with constant reports. It seems like Feron finally started to behave like a norman human."

Sovsem stroked his long hair as he answered.

"Two days ago, he left for the mountain. Two brothers, Gufa and Habos have followed him. None of them have returned. My men have found Habos dead on the mountain path, you know what killed him?"

Sovsem chuckled.

"He was killed by a paralytic poison. The kid has managed not only to regain intelligence, he is smart. There is still a fair chance he is alive. However, since he can now think for himself, I doubt he will come back here, at least not until he is confident in confronting Gaden."

Napu was clearly dissatisfied by this state of things.

"So what if he doesn't want to come back? We just need to find him and bring him back then. As long as we can persuade him to listen to us, we can rule the tribe uninterrupted. Gaden is a bad chief. He may be a strong warrior, but he does not have any talent for leading. His position will crumble quickly if we come out as backers of Calak's son."

Sovsem rolled his eyes.

"And who will go looking for him? You? You know how much of a commotion will a Ferocious Warrior make at the mountain? Do you want to be the one to cause the deadly beasts in the inner reaches of the mountain to descend? You know that we cannot send anyone strong there, or it will just cause chaos! Or do you want to entrust someone outside of our circle with that? If you do, I'll just break your legs here, to save the future trouble!"

Just like Napu, Sovsem started to lose his cool. Everything was going smoothly until two days ago. None of the elders expected Feron to lure the two brothers intentionally.

"Calm down you two! At this point we do nothing good by arguing. If the kid decides to return, we will go with the old plan. As for now, I have a solution."

The heated discussion was interrupted by a third voice. It was the voice of Sherh, the oldest and strongest of the elders.
