Late Night Interrogation

A few hours ago:

Ruby POV:

"I hope you realize your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger." The blond huntress lectured.

After attempting to get an autograph, I was dragged here, and am now being ranted at by the very same huntress I wanted the autograph of. And the worst is, I didn't even get the autograph. 'Haaah, This feels like when I got in trouble at Signal for trying to show off my sweetheart to the other students.

"They started it," I interjected, trying to defend myself.

"If it were up to me, you'd be sent home. With a pat on the back... and a slap on the wrist!" She ignores my statement, as I quickly move my hand off the table as she brings down her riding crop. "But, there's someone here who would like to meet you," she finishes, as THE professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon, walks through the door behind her with a plate of cookies and a steaming mug.

"Ruby Rose… You…. have silver eyes," he states, weirding me out a bit.

"Uh..um," well how do you expect me to react to that.

The blond huntress then holds up a tablet playing a recording of my fight against the henchmen of that bowler-hat-wearing guy.

"Where did you learn to do this," Ozpin asks gesturing to the video.

"S-Signal Acadamy," I reply, still a little nervous.

"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?" Ozpin asks, seemingly curious.

"Well, one teacher in particular," I state, already over my nervousness.

"I see," he says slowly, and then places the plate of cookies in front of me. Taking a glance at him, I gingerly devour one cookie. When I see that he didn't react I start shoveling the rest into my mouth. After all who can resist Oum's greatest creation. THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE!!

"It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty old crow," Ozpin states seemingly in thought. Presumably of the person he is referring to.

"Mmm! Thash muh unkul!" I say with my mouth full. I quickly swallow the remaining cookies in my mouth and repeat myself, "Sorry, that's my uncle Qrow!"

I then continue with growing enthusiasm, "He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now I'm all like," I then proceed to karate chop the air while making fighting noises to illustrate my point.

"So I've noticed," he says as he sets his mug down and leans over the table. "And what is an adorable girl, such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?" He finishes with mild curiosity.

"Well…. I want to be a huntress," I say with some emphasis.

"You want to slay monsters?"He asks.

I then start rambling, "Yeah, I only have two more years of training left at Signal, and then I'm going to apply to Beacon. See, my sister's starting there this year and she's trying to become a huntress. And I'm trying to become a huntress because I want to help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, eh, well may as well make a career out of it. I mean, the police are alright but huntsmen and huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool you know!?!"

I look up to see the opposing looks of discontent from the huntress and slight amusement of Ozpin, who then asks,

"Do you know who I am?" He asked, probably already knowing my answer to that question.

"Your Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster of Beacon." I say in a rather forced calm.

"Hello," He greets, with a polite tone of voice.

"Nice to meet you," I reply.

"You want to come to my school?" Ozpin asks.

I slowly reply with as much feeling as possible, "More than anything."

Ozpin and the blond huntress, who has just been standing there this whole time, glance at each other. The huntress breaks eye contact after a second while rolling her eyes, clearly unhappy with her perceived outcome.

"Well, ok," Ozpin starts amusedly.

My eyes slowly widen as one of my greatest dreams has been realized. Me, attending beacon. I almost think this is a dream, but I know this is as real as it gets.

"But first, another matter," he continues, gaining my confusion.

"What other matter?" I say with curiosity.

"Do you know who this might be?" He asks as the blond huntress once again pulls out the tablet and starts playing a recording.

This time however the recording is not of me, but of the tall, armored lady who had shielded me from Roman's attack with herself. If the blond huntress didn't interfere then the armored lady would have definitely been hurt. It's touching that a stranger would put themselves in harm's way for me.

"I've never met her no, why?" I ask more than a little curious.

"Well, Glynda over here was intent on bringing you both in tonight, but this person managed to escape," he informed

"You mean she wasn't a huntress? But how she was so powerful. I mean she almost brought down that Bullhead," I question with more even confusion.

"No, she's not," he answers clearly not giving me anything else to state my curiosity.

"Well, it's about time you should go, I informed your father of this incident and he should be here for you any minute," Ozpin said wrapping up this conversation and gesturing toward the door.

I get up and walk over to the door of the interrogation room where a cop was waiting; probably to take me to where my dad will pick me up.

"Oh, and one more thing," Ozpin states causing me to turn around. "Congratulations." He finishes. To which I smile and turn around to continue out the door.

POV Change (Ozpin):

A Ruby Rose leaves through the door, I turn to Ms. Goodwitch, and ask,

"Do we have eye's on our masked heroine?" I ask with some amusement.

"We do," She says as she pulls up a recording of our target entering a book store. "This was a few minutes ago. She entered this store after running all around the city for hours. It was sent to me by one of the Huntsman team you sent to apprehend her."

"Good, make sure to inform them to be very careful, as we do not know what she is capable of." I calmly urge my associate.

"I am aware," She says.

"Good, but I am concerned, will they be enough?" I ask, a little concerned.

"Of course, Sir, they're fully-fledged huntsmen, even if recently graduated, and she's just a kid," she says seemingly stating the obvious.

"We'll see, but just as an extra precaution, why don't we go reinforce our recruitment team," I say, as I make my way to the exit.
