The Truth

"Get away from her Annie" shouted Stella in a serious tone as she was still holding the ball of light.

"No Aunt Stella she's still Maddie you cannot hurt her" said Annie

"No but can't you see, she being controlled by Azazel" said Stella

"Oh so that's what's happening" said Annie as she just realized something

"Annie what is happening? and what connection does Maddie have with Azazel?" asked Stella in a very serious angry tone that Annie had never seen before.

Before Annie could answer Maddie started groaning on the floor and both Annie and Stella turned to her.

"Maddie, Maddie are you there?? you have to fight him listen to me" said Annie as she went over and crouched next to her.

Maddie just groaned more and she struggled to speak "Annie are you there, i can't he's in my head shouting and screaming telling me to do it, but i don't want to" said Maddie as she was in pain and covered her ears with her hands.

"NO fight it Maddie i know you can, you are my best friend and you won't ever do anything to hurt me" said Annie

Maddie groaned some more and her eyes went back to full blue and she rose up with the dagger in her hand.

"Annie move away from there NOW!" said Stella as the ball of flight faded from her hand.

"No Aunt Stella trust me it will all be fine" said Annie as she looked at Stella from behind her.

Maddie walked closer to Annie with the dagger in her hand and Annie came closer and was awaiting her fate, as she saw that Maddie as coming closer, Annie came closer and hugged Maddie, but Maddie used the opportunity to hit her ,and she plunged the dagger into Annie's second side.

Annie felt the pain and just said "I trust you Maddie, your my best friend" and with those words Maddie fell to the ground with pain and she was screaming "I WILL NOT DO YOUR WILL FATHER" she shouted on the ground as she covered her ears with her hands.

Meanwhile Annie had slumped on the ground and blood was gushing out of her second side, Stella quickly rushed to her and did a healing spell, and all the wounds were closed, but Annie was still tired.

"Curtis where are you?" asked Annie in her mind as she closed her eyes.

Meanwhile Maddie was having an internal battle inside, it was her versus her Father's will, she kept on resisting an resisting.

She thought about all her good memories with Annie, Matt, Curtis and the rest, she thought about how nice they were to her, how they accepted her without resentment, they treated her like family, Annie said that she was her best friend, Matt trusted her, Curtis trusted her, even Stella trusted her, and what did she do?? she stabbed them in the back.

Why why?? she cried, as a tear fell down from her eye and suddenly her emotions over powered the mind control on her, the spell was broken, Maddie felt relieved she was in her own right senses once again but she was very weak and was still lying on the floor.

After Stella saw that Annie was alright but just tired she stood up and walked over to where Maddie was lying down and said "Who are you?"

"Aunt Stella i am sorry" said Maddie's weak soft voice that was like a whisper,

"Who is your aunt tell me who are you?" asked Stella but this time with more seriousness and Anger in her voice.

"I'm I'm... Azazel is my father" said Maddie sadly

"What you lied to us, you are a traitor and you deserve to be banished and punished" said Stella without a hint of kindness in her voice.

"I'm sorry i really am" said Maddie with her voice and body still weak.

Stella was about to use another ball of light spell on her when from nowhere Annie stood in front of Maddie to protect her.

"Annie move away i am not going to stop this time" said Stella as she looked at Annie sternly

"But Aunt Stella you can see that it's not her fault she was being controlled" said Annie as she tried to plead with Stella

"But Annie she is the enemy's daughter" said Stella

"Yes i know" said Annie

"You know then why did you still let her stay here, you helped a traitor" said Stella as she could not believe what was happening.

"Look Aunt Stella i will tell you the truth, we all knew that Maddie was Azazel's daughter, the whole reason she befriended me was because Azazel said so, but all through the while as i spent more time with her i got to know that she was her own person, she likes her own things and she is not in any way evil as he Father is" said Annie.

"You state all those points but it can't change the most crucial thing, you are protecting the offspring of the person who wants to Kill you!" said Stella

"Aunt Stella with all due respect, I for one think that no one, i repeat no one should not be given a second chance" said Annie

"But-" said Stella as she was cut off

"And i also think that children should not pay for their parents crimes" said Annie with a firm boldness that Stella had never seen before.

Stella was at a loss for words, Annie was right children didn't have to pay for the crimes of their parents, but she just could not just do it, they were talking about a person that killed countless lives, that included her best friend and Annie wanted her to show mercy to his daughter, Stella was torn inside she didn't know what to do.

"What happened here??" asked a familiar voice, the rain had just cleared and everywhere was quiet once again.

Annie's eyes went wide when she saw who it was and she ran over to the entrance and hugged him

"Curtis you're back" said Annie as she sighed a sigh of relief, she didn't know how long she could hold on on convincing Stella alone.
