Janice who was already confused by Elena's words had no other way then to take the meaning of the words literally.

Over the time Janice had also started to talk to Hera and understand her more and more. She still couldn't go along with the things that she used to hear maids gossiping or maybe sometimes just read the journal enteries over and over again which made her sad and lonely.

There was still no sign of her father's return though the mansion received a couple of letters over one week's time where the baron mentioned some things about his return.

Anyway the time was going both slow and fast for Janice. It was going slow since she didn't have much to do and just read books in the library and getting lost in the thoughts. And it was going fast because she knew that someday in the very near future she will have to return to the palace.
