So it all began when the one and only King Henry Welhem decided that he would enforce the law stating that all the witches were supposed to get banished from the kingdom of Aartals given that they don't have a family.

"Many worried what might the reason for that be?" Most people thought. But the explanation for the same was quite simple. In fact it was perfect to cater the common people's thoughts stating that witches were an undesirable factors in the society.

Although the major population of witches lived in the rural south area of the kingdom like Gyros and other nearby villages, they were not a big population. In fact they were very sparse compared to the mages, sorcerers and all the other people who were magicians. But this law made it real hard for the witches to survive.
