Janice looked at her mother. Stared deeply in her eyes and she could tell clearly that Hera wasn't joking. Not even a little bit.

Instead the emotions that flooded the eyes were of guilty regret. The regret that can never be avoided and yet we do the mistakes.

Hera looked at Janice's face. Her expressions were growing more and more deeply confused and that's why Hera wanted to make an effort to clear as many things as she could.

She didn't want Janice to go any further with the same understandings that she had for years. Her life was indeed bound to fall into disarray but Hera wanted to clear the reason.
