Along with the devil

Tristan's point of view:

She hates me; I know it for sure. I would have hated myself too if I was her.

I claim to fight against evil, to create peace for my own people while searching for fair treatment toward the one who killed thousands of innocent wolves. Yet, I'm hurting her, meanwhile, she had done nothing wrong to anyone, nothing but being born on the wrong side.

I know I'm being such a jerk, part of me wants to set her free but I cannot do anything until I discover what's wrong in that Palace.

At least, here I can guarantee that she stays alive. Meanwhile, I'm sure she won't make it alive toward the palace.

I'm not trying to hurt her, but I need to make sure that she doesn't surrender to the mate bond. The thing is that whenever I see her; it gets harder to maintain my sense of ration.

In another meaning, I get weaker whenever my eyes lie on her dark night eyes. I feel like falling on my knees whenever her sweet lilac sent cross my nose. Her silky dark long hair is what I would die just to run my fingers in between. Those heart-shaped lips keep driving my wolf crazy, I want to taste them badly. I want to claim each and every part of her thin yet curvy body.

I want to mark her, to make her mine. Still, it's impossible.

The hatred my kind does have for her kind is unbearable, and there's no way that we can get over such a hatred…

Tiana's point of view:

It's my first time struggling to open my eyes, my entire body screamed in pain. It took me a while until I finally was able to remember what happened.

I managed to run but then was caught. Aeron turns out to be a piece of shit, and now, I'm back as a captured for the wolves.

My goal was to discover all Aeron's plans if it wasn't for Tristan to get in between. Right after he threw my body away from Aeron, he knocked me out.

And now, I'm back…

Well, I left my body trying to make sure about my where being. I mean, I'm not in the cell anymore. I was in a room, laying on a bed actually.

The room isn't a luxurious as mine. Yet, it's better than the cell, and it smells clean.

Not only that, my clothes. It's the first time since I came here that the dress from that cursed night was changed. My hair was wet, and it seems that my body was showered.

I stood on my feet while checking myself; it was as if I was making sure if something messing out of my body.

While trying to recognize the situation, the door of the room busted open causing my entire body to shiver.

For a while, I thought it was Tristan, and all the ugly thoughts ran through my wild imagination, but it wasn't him.

A beautiful woman with soft features made it inside of the room.

" You woke up dear?" She softly wondered, but her question and the way she was speaking to me surprised me. She was the first wolf who gently spoke to me.

" Where am I?" I asked her while trying to pull out the feeling from my voice. It wasn't hard for me to sound numb, especially after what I've been through lately.

" The alpha decided to move you from the dungeon to the main packhouse. You are located right next to his room." She explained while still speaking gently.

Right after that, she closed the door after her; she came to notice that my gaze was following the keys that she was holding. So, she spoke again.

" Don't even think about it. The only reason why Alpha Tristan brought you here is that he wants to make sure you never run again…"

I nod my head like a child being obedient toward one of his parents. I actually only act that way when speaking with my father.

" How are you feeling now?" She was ashamed while holding a worried look on her face.

" I'm fine!" I lied, somehow she seemed worried about me, and I didn't want her to feel bad because of me.

What the hell is wrong with me? I wondered inside of my mind. Why do I care about how a stranger's feeling that I've just met?

" I'm not allowed to stay here for too long, so I'll keep it short. You have all necessaries for your everyday shower, some dresses to change on the wardrobe, and also some books under your bed in order to keep your company."

"Under the bed?" I asked, and with a charming smile on her face, she answered.

" If you're staying here, you need to know about people you're dealing with. Those books will help you to learn more about the environment you're stuck into, and believe that alpha Tristan wouldn't want you to get such knowledge."

I ran my hand through my hair while trying to understand whatever she was saying, but then, I found myself asking again.

" You don't seem to like him?"

She avoided answering my question, but I got the vibe that she shares the same feelings as me.

" I'll come to see you twice a day, and I'll help with showing and changing. Also, I'll bring blood to you."

I nodded with my head, then I thanked her.

Call me a fool, but for a while, I believed seeing a hint of happiness and warmth when I thanked her. She kind of feels familiar, although it's my first time seeing her.

Lost in my thoughts, I was when the door busted open to show a furious Tristan showed, and he then shouted at the woman that was still near me.

" Leave!"

Of course, she did as she was told, meanwhile; I stayed alone, locked in a room with the devil.
