That Border was it passable?

A lot of different things would have to be done to turn this into a prospering city but for now, it was bedtime and he could only wait for tomorrow to continue after work.

After submitting his resignation letter during his last work hour he went home feeling kind of strange. It was a new feeling to quit a job without some assurance, well except for the money in the app. He was excited but at the same time having a feeling of losing something was stirring in his belly.

Has soon as he reached his home after riding the bus and walking the rest. He opened the door to unload his stuff and go to his pc. His small apartment was not new but also not old. It was in a modern building near a bus station. He kind of had a hard experience with the distance to bus stops as a kid so he was really happy when his new apartment had a bus stop really near. When he went to school he had to walk around 15 minutes to the bus stop, which was double the time the of the busses travel time. To some people in the world, this is not much but it got on his nerves, especially when he had a free hour in school and his way home was too long to take in the free time. The fact that the way home after a long school day was uphill added to the fun.

But now it was time to play and get rich. At least he hoped. He opened the game played on his bed as the black thing from his screen floated to his eyes and formed the sort of glasses to play. When his eyes opened in the game the first thing he did was to check if something happened during his absence. But no notification informed him of something important happening. Except for well a lot of money amassing from trades. Tim thought that it was the right choice to quit his job.

Because in this world he did not have to care about a person's needs and place a lot of buildings related to fun and moral so he had a lot less to do. The golem production facility was upgraded so know the next blueprint for the next better Golem was available and like he had guest it was expensive. But due to amassing a lot of money during his time at work, he had enough. Before buying it he checked on the other things like food and wood production. During his stroll, he checked the information he got on golems at the beginning. He stumbled upon a skill system for the Golems. The standard Golem could carry and do light processing. But in the future, that would not be enough and the Golems had to specialized. For example, one would focus on brewing, often also called alchemy, while another would take care of Blacksmithing. While doing the beginner-level things related to a topic they would learn to evolve their knowledge and body. Like this, they could gain experience in a certain field and focus on a certain activity. The needed skills could also be bought and transferred to a Golem. In the future, they would even be integrated during production.

After buying the new Golem blueprint and checking the amazing stats of it he changed his perspective to first-person to roam around his city. He hoped he could gain some experience by doing some quests. And he found some. But to his disappointment they were all going something like this: "Get me some of that and that or help me do this and that" After some time he was getting bored fulfilling the Golems tasks. They were helping him level though. During his time spent doing quest he had leveled up 2 times and was now level three. Each time he leveled up he got 3 stat points to distribute.

That's how he spent his next few days. He was going around doing quests and at the same time reap the money of the sales in the shop. Because he could not really do anything else. After some time he got wondering if it was possible to leave his "bubble" and visit another city and speak to the people there. So on some day he chose the easiest route and went off while taking a lot of food with him. In this world, it was possible to pickle food to conserve it for longer.

He had to walk for a long time. He went through forests, far-stretching fields, and something close to a swamp. After some time he reached the edge of the map. He was elated to see the nearly transparent barrier shooting up into the sky. His heart was pumping. If this was possible he could take over this world, theoretically. He reached out his hand to try and touch the visible barrier.
