It was still noon but the weather of Shine city changed all of a sudden. Dark clouds covered the clear blue sky. Soon, it started to rain. Sarina was riding a bike with Victoria sitting behind her. The werewolf hunter did not spare a second thought on slowing down.

The blood princess was surprised and scared of the whole thing. She has never been on such a fast and thrilling ride before, but slowly her vampire instincts started to kick in. Her initial fear changed into an adrenaline rush. She did not even notice when the two people reached the cemetery. Sarina said, "Victoria, we are here."

Snapping out of her daze, Victoria got down the bike. She asked Sarina, "Why are we here?"

The beauty replied, "I sense Will's presence here. Come with me." as she walked in.

Victoria asked, "Sarina, why does he call you sister?" her curiosity was piled up like a volcano and she could not stop the eruption.

Sarina said, "I was twenty when Aunt Vika brought him to the church. He was 10. I saw him being wary of everyone around him. He would never be a step away from his mother back then. When the two came to the city, they were attacked and robbed by bandits back in those days. Somehow, Aunt Vika saved themselves and came here.

Aunt Vika was gravely injured and she fell fainted on the steps. The tribune does not help you until you step inside the doors of the church. He dragged her, but then stopped as he was afraid of her getting hurt.

I was watching all this, and I as Werewolf was taught to never help Vampires for free. The boy ran up to me and said, 'Big sister please, help my mother. Please, I will be your slave.' those eyes of his shook my soul. So, I helped them. Aunt Vika would always send me some of her cooked specialties from the hands of the clergy.

I and Will became sworn siblings after her death. Now you know the story, Victoria or should I call you Sister-in-law?"

Victoria was shocked at being seen through by Sarina. She blushed a bit but controlled it. She said, "His heart is too full of hatred. It is going to take a long time before he will accept me."

Sarina nodded. By the time the discussion was over the two people have reached the gravestone of Vika Smith. A man was covering the hole with his hands gently. Victoria spotted a blur glint shining now and then.

She understood that the man was in front of her was crying. She took a step forward and crouched down beside him. She helped him burying the urn in the mud. She said, "I know you don't want to hear me say anything. If only I was strict enough to just kill Oleksiy Vlad.

I am sorry to you and your mother. But if you hurt yourself so much by filling your heart with hate, will she be able to rest in peace? Sarina told me how much your mother loved you. Do you think she went through all that pain so that you can become what you are?"

She stopped after saying this because she nodded that Bones' was moving slowly. Sarina was surprised at this but a smile emerged on her face. This was the first time when Bones had actually reacted to someone's preaching.

In the past when someone uttered a word about his mother, they would die as soon as they are out of the church. Bone had been punished a lot because of this habit of his, but always in moderation, after all, who knows if Alucard Tepes got pissed at the elders and squashed them into a bloody mess?

Victoria spoke again, "Strength is when you can smile through the pain and walk forward. Face it all and beat it all, but always with a smile on your face and calmness in your heart." her words this time, made Bones stopped moving altogether.

He asked her in a hoarse voice, "Where did you hear those words?"

Victoria flinched suddenly. She asked, "What did you say?"

Sarina sighed and said, "Will, did she see that portrait?"

Bones nodded with his face covered with hair. Sarina said, "You remember how that Oracle told you that the soul of Aunt Vika still wanders and rests in that Portrait? And that she will only rest in peace when her last wish is fulfilled?"

Bones nodded again. Sarina said, "Her last wish was to see you happy, Will. Are you happy? I have not seen you smile in ages. So how can such a loving mother just go? I never wanted to say this but do you realize that your grief, is the reason why she cannot cross over?"

The man raised his head to the sky and asked, "I don't want her to be like this, but how do I let her go, Sis? I miss everything with her. Even if it was painful, I was warm, but now... I want to be happy to you know. She always used to say, 'Willian, never be afraid of pain. It will go away.' but you know how she closed her heart to everyone when Alucard Tepes betrayed her. I never learned to let someone close.

I am Bones, the hunter, the emissary of the devil. That is what they call me right?"

Sarina had no answer to his questions, but suddenly Victoria spoke up, "In this very moment, you are opening up Willian. You are showing that you trust us when you say all this. When you share your burdens and your happiness, that is when you let others get close to you. Did you not figure it out, even after so long?"

Bones looked at her and his gaze was locked onto her eyes. Her eyes were filled with love and care, they had a warm spark inside them. He couldn't help but move towards her. He raised his hand to touch her face but suddenly fell, with his head landing in Victoria's lap.

Sarina shouted, "ASHLEY CROW? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?"
