Sui sat down on a comfortable chair in a rather luxurious room, in front of him was a middle-aged man who seemed to report a few matters. After a while, the man left and Sui sighed in relief. This man was chosen by Sui from the people who worked for Gato, he had talent so Sui recruited him to manage most of his new wealth and businesses.

'It's finally over… So much work…' He could finally relax a little. It had taken a lot of work to make sure the wealth would belong to him. He had traveled all over the nations in the span of three days.

Gato had a lot of wealth, from land to ships and goods. It was more than enough for what Sui had planned.

He closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment, 'It's time I turn off this Calm Mind… I am under no danger.'

The reason he wanted to do such a thing was simple, Calm Mind had not only taken his panic, fear, and hesitation to do many things but it had also taken other things as well. Such as love, empathy, and more…

It could be said that within that state of mind, he was perfectly efficient but not human. He didn't want that so Sui prepared to face his emotions. Worst situation possible, he would turn it back on.

'A life without emotions is not a life worth living.' He thought and opened the system.

He calmly turned it off.

At first, nothing strange happened, he waited for a few seconds but only felt perfectly normal.

He frowned and stood up, he arrived in front of a mirror and looked at his reflection.

The moment he locked eyes with himself, something seemed to break, tears flowed from his eyes as intense emotions exploded forth from his heart.

Sorrow, grief, loneliness, loss, fear, uncertainty…

Happiness, excitement, giddiness, Hope, inspiration, joy…

Shock, panic, fear, horror, disbelief, disgust…

The swirl of emotions made him laugh while tears flowed forth, it was a very intense experience, his face constantly changed. If anyone saw him, they would take him as a madman.

A few minutes passed before he calmed down a little, he walked to the chair and collapsed on it weakly.

"Too much…" He muttered, feeling desolate.

At the moment, he felt like a stranger in a foreign land, he didn't belong in this world. Everything he had was gone.

He sat like that for an hour, 'Why should I bother with anything? I don't care about anyone in this world. I don't care about the system that much either… Why should I seek power? What is the point of power? When I am all alone…'

He felt so lonely…

'I don't belong anywhere…'

He closed his eyes and entered cultivation mode, 'I can just enjoy myself here…'

He seemed to have lost his motivation.

Sui without the Calm Mind seemed to be an entirely different being, it sparks the question, how much of us is made of our emotions?

For 4 days he didn't leave the room unless it was to do something important, he just used the cultivation function.

On the 5th day, he felt motivated to do something, 'I want to taste Ichiraku Ramen, might as well since I am in this world.'

He began traveling toward Konoha under the guise of a merchant to do business. He didn't need to be worried about someone recognizing him, no one how he looked like while he had run amok in Konoha. And after the purification rebirth, he looked nothing like how Sui the chunin looked like. His perfect chakra control made it so that sensing his power would be an impossibility unless he let it loose.

He passed by mountains and rivers over the span of days, not using his abilities to travel, he wanted to enjoy the journey. He ate many types of food, visited hot-spring baths, and saw interesting types of people.

Days later he reached Konoha.

Sui enjoyed the fresh air of the forest as he saw the gate of Konoha, there were other travelers with him, all of them were merchants. It was dusk and the setting sun painted a beautiful and peaceful picture.

He entered the village after letting the shinobi at the entrance see his documents.

The first thing he did was to take a deep breath.

'This place smells like grass and leaves…' He thought with a cheerful smile. His mood had improved a lot after traveling a little.

He asked some random people around for directions and headed straight for Ichiraku's place. He was curious to see how the ramen would taste like.

It took him half an hour till he found the place, without further delay, he entered.

"I will become Hokage! Believe it!"

A voice made him look to his left, he saw a blonde-haired kid with blue eyes shouting to the store owner. Looking at the bright hair and strange mark on his face, he seemed to realize something.

His eyes widened a little, 'Naruto, huh?'

He decided to ignore him and sat down.

"What can I get you?" Asked Ichiraku.

Sui pointed toward Naruto, "Whatever he was having."

Ichiraku nodded and went to prepare his Ramen.

Meanwhile, Naruto was surprised by the stranger, he was curious why he ordered like that but he didn't pry.

"See ya," He said to the store owner and ran off.

Sui smiled a little, 'He has no headband which means he is not a Shinobi yet, that's good news at least.'

His ramen finally arrived and he started eating, the moment he tasted it, he stopped and said, "2 more please."

It was super delicious. Sui felt satisfied with his decision to come here, the Ramen was worth it. His mood also improved a lot.

As he was enjoying himself, something huge was taking place in the village.

Many groups of shinobi had gathered, it seemed a civil war was going to take place.

Groups of Jonin along with Hyuga Hiashi and other members of the Hyuga clan had gathered near the Root headquarters, ready to attack. They had surrounded it.

Meanwhile, many Root members had in turn secretly surrounded the Hokage tower and many important places in the village. Not that the ordinary people noticed.

In the Hokage tower, Hiruzen and Danzo stood in front of each other.

Hiruzen was filled with sadness while Danzo's face was calm. Hiruzen sighed as he looked at Danzo's arm filled covered in Sharingans, "Is this what you wanted? You have disgraced our teacher."

Danzo answered matter of factly, "If you are so stubborn to cling to power, then I can't help it. Do you know how many threats I have secretly destroyed while you enjoyed the limelight? Konoha will flourish under my leadership."

Hiruzen's eyes turned cold, "So it has come to this at last... This is over."

Danzo shook his head, "You underestimate me."

Sui held the bowl to his mouth as he drank the content inside when suddenly, a large boom echoed in the village.

The hot content of the bowl spilled on his face due to the suddenness of the sound. He quickly put the bowl aside and began wiping his face.

"What the…" Just as he began cursing in anger, another boom echoed and shook the village.

Sui quickly headed out of the shop and saw the Hokage Tower under attack, Shinobi fighting left and right in areas without civilians around, and the ground rumbling under his feet indicating a battle was taking place somewhere underground.

He was shocked, 'What the hell is going on here?! A civil war?!!'
