chapter 2 - Gaze show one's pain

Hyoudou residences

Soundly sleeping inside his bed, A young man eyes twitch as slowly crimson red eyes revealed itself. Looking around the room he stood up To sat down grasping his head.

'What's going on!?'

Memories began to flood as his energy started to run through his body as gradually his body became much refine and tone. His power had reach to a middle class devil with energy alone.

After few minutes, shocked filled his face as he took breath calming himself. He did not expect that the time travel to work so well. Issei stood up and looked at the mirror and saw himself younger than before with much smaller muscle but was refine seeing the lines if his tank top was remove.

'I can't believe I-I came back!?'

[Yes partner. This isn't a dream.]

'Irene!?'

[Now, we can change everything.]

His body was quivering while his teeth rattle from shocked. Emotion filled his heart as tear began to flow having some of the burden he carry had lifted. His regret can now be change as he heard his mother voice which countless year had passed the last time he heard it.

"Issei wake up or your going to be late."

Issei regretted countless things and one of them was unable to take his time with his parent into consideration. They died in the day when the outer god came.

'We will make those bastard pay!'

He vividly recalled the events that cause many hardship to his life. Issei clench his fist in anger as he heard footstep coming on the stairs that his eyes widen.

'Wait!? I'm too emotional!? I cant face them now or they'll start being suspicious so early!'

[Issei, calm down!]

Hearing Irene voice made him took a deep breathe as he heard the door creak as a woman perk her head through the door.

"Issei, I'm going in. I told you to wake up early but why are you….crying?"

She saw the gaze of her son who was known to be happy craze child contain grief and sadness, It was unusual for her son to act this way. Issei's mother quickly approach him with worried looked then held her hands to his face.

"What's wrong issei? Did something happened?"

As his mother, she everything about him and nothing could hide the truth from her about her own son. Seeing his eyes could already indicate something was wrong.

Issei felt the warm hand of his mother made him calm down. He only gave reassuring smile then said.

"hehehe its embarrassing but don't worry mom I just had horrible nightmare."

He tried to his best to had his grief with dry laugh while his mother wasn't fully convince was force to accept the truth. She knew his son would tell her when he finally able to.

"Alright issei but hurry up or your going to be late."

Issei only nodded as he saw his mother closing the door as he plop on the bed processing everything that had happened. He still many things needed to be done and enemies to face.

'Seeing the calendar it means that yesterday is when I become a devil. I still need time to train my body and test my ability.'

[So what's your plan, issei?]

'I was thinking of going to Grigori and talking to Azazel but it might lead to meeting kokabiel and I am far too weak to fight him. Still it's the best option giving me better understanding of my power and his the person I could trust.'

Azazel, leader of the fallen angel faction or otherwise known as Grigori was a man who Issei view as uncle who taught him many ways including perverted ones. Even though most of the time he is laid back, Azazel is calculative and smart person that knowns how to act when time arises.

Issei can't exactly trust devil faction for help cause it has countless rats including the bastard that led to one of his wife Asia abandon by the church.

He had many years to learn in many fields while fighting the outer gods. Issei knew that every action he take would lead to unprecedented result. Therefore needed to see the factors that can influenced his goal. Azazel is the best shot while the second option is Yasaka from youkai faction but it might brought the shinto gods into the play.

[I think Azazel is better option.]

'Good we'll meet him soon since he was my client in devil works. It would better if he was alone and not in Grigori to be safe.'

Even if Issei trust Azazel doesn't mean it include other fallen angels especially one associated with Kokabiel.

'Well I'll think about it later. I need to get ready.'

Issei went to the bathroom to take a bath as it been countless years since he had taken a decent bath. He took off his clothe and look at the mirror fully showing his tone body similar to swimmer. His old power was still needed time to fully adjust to his body.

His overall capability is high class devil. Issei had combat experience therefore he can easily defeat even stray devil with his human strength. Issei stared at his reflection and how unbelievable seeing his old self.

'*Sigh* I hate the fact that I extreme pervert…."

[Hahaha your right but that's why we fell in love with you.]

'I don't know if your being sarcastic or not.'

Issei already lost count how many times he had sigh from his return. He went to take shower finally having relax bath after so many years. Afterwards, dry himself then wore Kuoh uniform with a red inner shirt like his old self use to wear. He felt nostalgic wearing Kuoh once again.

[You look ravishing, Issei.]

'Thanks, Irene.'

[If I had my body then I would have pound you.]

'Since Big G said I have control over sacred system maybe I can create one with similar effect of Sephiroth grail.'

[You're right. Well test it later.]

Issei nodded and finish dressing himself went down stairs to be greeted by his father who awkwardly saw his figure. His son acted strangely according his wife which made him wary. He could see his son eyes had change into mature one who had seen the truth of the world.

He sat down feeling the awkward atmosphere. Issei could only sigh was again from gloomy air.

"Did something happened issei? Your mom told me that you were crying earlier?"

"Ah jeez mom make things awkward. Well I had horrible dreams that's it don't need to make it big deal."

Issei tried his hardest to pretend everything was fine but his parent knew it very well that their son having problems. They could see a burden whenever their gaze met with his. He could have used hypnosis but his conscious didn't allow it.

'I'm sorry mom, dad but I cant involved you with all of this shit just yet.'

Walking through the streets, issei felt terrified approaching his destination. It was the place where everything had began. The place where he laugh, cry and fell in love.

'I don't know I can act without breaking down once I met them….'

[You can do it, Issei. I'll be with you when it happens.]

'Thanks partner.'

It didn't take long for him to arrived at the gate of Kuoh academy which once an all girls school. Issei want to smack himself for having stupid reason but still glad he did as meeting his wives was the best thing that happened to him.

Issei then felt the gaze of girls seeing his tone body and more handsome face due to his old power fusing with his current body. Furthermore, his aura was more tempered and mature influencing their desire to be with him. He had the body of dragon therefore its traits were included.

He decided to ignore them and walked to his class sensing the lustful gaze of the woman. If his past self were to experience it then he would act like fool rap*st. After few minutes, he arrive to his room opening the door being greeted by the teacher and his classmate gaze.

"I'm sorry for being late."

"Uhmm young man I think you are in the wrong classroom."

"Wait can't you recognize me? It's me issei hyoudou!?"

Silent filled the room until their eyes went wide then jaw dropped. Issei only warily smiled from their reaction.
