Chapter 76 - New woman

Issei finished his enslavement towards the two gods who was kneeling in front of him. He was pleased how easily their mind wavered from his spell. Afterward, Issei removed the spatial locked and being greeted by the defeated grim reaper with Jeanne few scratches.

He quickly approached who was surprised when Issei tap her shoulder then used a healing spell to restore her health. Issei observed the damage and saw the room littered with swords protruding on the floor. He wipes his hand restoring everything to normal. It was easy for him to create things ever since sitting in heavens thrones.

"Are you alright? How did your fight go?"(Issei)

"It was tiring since I forgot that I'm currently weaker than previous timeline."(Jeanne)

She frowned being frustrated of loosing her old strengths that she worked hard to achieve. Issei understood her frustration since his power was only getting closer to hi prime recently. It was physical but if asked which is stronger then the current Issei due his abundant of power and weapon being much more versatile than before.

"No need to get frustrated. We can train together and I know you'll get back your original strength."

"If you say so. Anyway, how about you? Did you successfully enslaved them?"(Jeanne)

"See for yourself."

Issei pointed behind him where the two gods showed their servitude. Jeanne was astonished at how blizzard that two of the strongest being was kneeling in front of Issei. He grabbed he hand dragging her towards Hades throne and sat down while gesturing for Jeanne to sit on his lap.

"A-A-Are you sure? That's a bit embarrassing though!?"(Jeanne)

"If you don't mind to then I won't force you but my lap is getting cold."

Jeanne blushed hesitant at first but decided to sit down on his lap since no one was watching beside Hades and Thanatos as the defeated grim reaper are unconscious. Issei did place spell similar to the two gods but weaker enough to enslave them. She was beet red while Issei chuckled then turn his attention to the two gods.

"Now then tell me any information you have."

Hades began explaining about his planned and the meeting of Rizevim who suggested the plan if somehow his failed. It detailed the location of his laboratory located in Cocytus that he heently sent grim reaper to investigate. Issei was curious what this place is as it kept drawing him in.

Thanatos then gave his report about the mount Olympus that was currently in disarray after finding out the weapon of Ares disappeared causing Issei to sweat remembering the Blade of Chaos. He still doesn't know about his possession of [Chaos] but he'll soon find out.

Moving forward, he told about the planned on allying with the other faction as recently a reported gather about a new threat arising. Issei recalled the plan on going there with Amaterasu, Serafall, and Gabriel. It was to give them information on the incoming threat.

"Who are you, people? What did you do to my husband?"

Issei raised an eyebrow surprised that he didn't noticed the new arrival but scanned the person. It was a woman dress in white wrapped in mantle with golden ornament on it while golden feather on top of her white hair. She had divine aura surrounding her and Issei quickly knew who she was.

"Forgive my intrusion lady Persephone."

"You still hof adn't answer my question boy?"

She was confused seeing her husband on the floor kneeling while random boy was sitting on his throne. Persophone knew her husband wouldn't kneel to anyone much sit on his throne. Though, her demeanor was façade as she was extremely wary of the intruder who was capable fighting her husband.

Nevertheless, she doesn't have much affection towards her husband who grown distance of her as the time passes. Persophone had developed hatred towards him.

"My name is Issei hyoudou and I am here due your husband treacherous plan towards the other faction. At first I plan to kill him and be done with but I reconsider making him a slave. Do understand that it would result in much greater damage if he were to proceed his plans."

Issei doesn't feel any remorse not hatred towards him but rather gratitude with a bit of loneliness. He already realize that Hades had neglected his wife which unconscious cause him to released bloodlust. Persophone was confused why he was infuriated but somehow felt warmth.

"Lady Persephone I thought you would be in rage at what we done to your husband?"(Jeanne)

"No, I am actually happy that you stopped him from doing something stupid. Now that enslave him then I am finally free."

Persophone gave sincere smile that held loneliness. Jeanne jumped off Issei lap and comforted her who was glad from the gesture. Issei stood up from his throne passing by the two kneeling gods towards Persophone.

"Lady persophone, I'll give you two choices."

Persophone stared at Issei curious but blush to get up close to Issei. She couldn't believe somehow could be this handsome.

"If one of the choices is staying quiet about you and working under you in helping manage the realm of the dead then I would gladly accept with on request."

"Tell me then I'll gladly do it. This is the least I could do for enslaving your husband."

"Since you made me a single woman then you must take responsibility and marry me."

The room became quiet as Issei tried to process what she just said. He didn't even realize that another woman wanted a piece of him.

"Wait Lady Persophone why are you requesting something outrageous?"(Jeanne)

"I am flattered that you offered your hand to me but I think it would be unfair for you as I have already have many lover and one of them is my lovely Jeanne here."

Issei boastfully said causing Jeanne to blushed while Persophone slightly jealous due how compare to Hades, Issei was more loving than him. His love felt it would never waver even If the world crumble. He was a man who would loved unconditionally and would feel pain when he couldn't spend time with them.

Though, all of his lover understood how important his work and yet still manage to have time with each of them.

"I don't mind your harem and seeing your love is unconditional then I would gladly accept a piece of it. Though I am willing to wait until you are ready."

Issei wanted to refute but shut his mouth seen Persephone had a lonely gaze. He didn't deny nor agree with her request as time would only tell and Persophone was willing to wait.

'Why do I fell like some sort of fanfic mc? Ain't this a bit too fast or random?'

Issei went to the garden where Persophone spend her time and saw how beautiful the place was compare to barren wasteland outside. Both him and Jeanne sat down for a cup of tea to discuss about the peace treaty.

Persophone was fully aware of the situation from mount Olympus due to her mother contacting her. They was going to be meeting soon with them in few day before the designated plan of attack.

"Come with me, you might some material to be of help you. My husband stored few foreign metals in his treasure."

Issei mention about doing weapon smiths and needed material. Persophone brought them into Hades treasure which opened by newly enslave hades. Upon the huge gate opened they were greeted by abundant of gold coins and artifacts.

Walking inside, Issei instantly felt something drawing him and found few foreign material. One was dark iron radiating a special deathly aura while another was dark copper and finally a light shining metal that was constantly absorbing the surrounding mana.

"These material I have found when travelling near the vampire faction. I had sense death aura but it was too strong for me and decided to store it. According to what I have found this are called dark copper and death iron but that is all I know, my lord."(Hades)

"While the light one is Orichalcum which is difficult to mold even for us gods. I think you might get better used than us."(Persophone)

Issei hover the material sensing a familiarity place it inside his pocket dimension. He couldn't find anymore things to used decided to return to the human world before giving one last glances to the place that drawing him.

'I'll check it out later. I still need to spent time with the others.'
