Opening my eyes, I was greeted by the system.
[Good Morning! I'd check my status and skills if I were you.]
'Thats straight forward.' I think, mentally pulling up my status.

'That was a info dump if I've ever seen one.' I thought, taking in the info. After collecting my thoughts, I mentally thought yes and started going through my skills.

Pulling up Magic Skills, I see one skill there.
[Skills: Magic:
Meditation (Active)(Passive): Passively Increases stats Intelligence, Wisdom, and Magic by 1.1, raises all Regeneration by 1% when in use.
Rank: Rare
Level: 1 (Xp: 9/100)]
Pausing at meditation, did I do that while I was 'asleep'? If so then good for me, it gives me something to work on.
"To bad theres only one." I say, before realizing that I have a body again. Looking into my new memories of the orphanage I go to the bathroom and look at the mirror to see myself.
Standing in the mirror was a tan kid with average height and neck long curly chestnut hair that shines when the sunlight hits it. Admiring my new hair, I see my eyes are a emerald green color showing off my heritage.
'Damn, I'll look pretty damn good.' I thought, thinking how I'll look when older.
'So, what should be my first move? I'm 10 and an orphan so I won't be going to Nancy or something like that, I could always go into camp but Luke must have recently gone on his quest so I'll be stuck there if I do go.' I pause, thinking about everything I know on the book.
'If I'm right since I know my heritage monsters will find me, but since my mom's a Minor Goddess I'll be looked over, at least until I get more powerful. Which should be where I start, Stats increase like skills as they too have a Xp bar, it's just hidden. I can either focus on stats, skills, magic, or all of them. While doing all of them is great, it takes far longer, and I don't have that kind of time out here.' I brainstorm. Realizing that while it may not be enjoyable, Camp is the best place to go if I want to grow right now.
"Well, off to Camp I go." I decide, walking back into my room and stuffing a bag with clothes.

'Oh, I forgot about the quest. Well there wasn't a time limit but I'll finish that after I figure out what the differences in the rating mean.' I thought, as another screen appeared.

"Question solved. Alright then I'll accept the quest once done with my tutorial." I said, before realizing I need to stop talking to myself.

The Gamer]
'I guess it was easy, in anything it was just time consuming.' I agree, thinking back on how the system works. So Reputation is exactly as it sounds, the relationship/reputation you have with others is shown here. For example, 0 means they don't know me, 1-19 means they are acquaintances, 20-49 is friends, 50-74 are close friends, 75-85 means they are as close as family, 86-99 is either girlfriend or best friends, and finally 100 which is absolute trust, there is no higher and they will do anything. Kinda creepy now that I think about it. Also it goes both ways for negatives but instead of a positive relationship, its negative.
The quest system is also self explanatory, it shows you quests. Yep, thats it. Anyway, opening my status screen I click on Title and see that my new Title, The Gamer.
[Titles:
The Gamer: A title bestowed to those with a system, gives perks Gamer Body & Gamers Mind.]
Equipping the title I go to Perks/Flaws and see those that carried over.
[Perks/Flaws:
Flaws:
Emotionally inept: You lost most of your emotions due to [Redacted] and now have -10% to gaining Rep.
~
Pride (Minor) : You've always hated being proven wrong, let alone being beat in a fight. +10% more likely to ignore reason.
~
Lust (Minor) : As a young teen before death, you've always loved the female body, -10% rep gain to all females who know you have this flaw. +10% Xp gain to all Erotic Skills.
~
Dyslexia: A learning disorder which impedes the ability to read. -100% to understanding any written language.
~
ADHD: Is a mental disorder in which causes hyperactivity and impulsive behavior. -5% to learning Informational Skills.
~
Perks:
Xp Harvester: You are able to take more Xp then given, 5% increase to all Xp gain.
~
Magically Adept: Your body and soul has become acclimated to magic and has unlocked its magical potential. +15% gain to all Magic skills.
~
Gamers Body & Gamers Mind: 2 perks in one in which grants the user a body that acts as a video game and a mind that is impenetrable from mental attacks, depression, and insanity.
~
Son of Hecate (Unclaimed): Being the son of the Goddess of Magic grants many benefits, and while not claimed it gives +5% Xp gain to Magic skills along with a -5% Mana cost to all skills.]
Going over the list I see that my major flaws from my past life carried over as minor ones, and that while unclaimed I still have plenty of buffs to start.
'Since I have the harvester perk that 50 Xp I got earlier it should be 52.5 now, hopefully it rounds up as to not have to deal with decimals.' I thought, realizing that while not a big increase over time it would accumulate plenty of Xp.
Going into my inventory, I take what will be my first spell.
[Would you like to learn Observe?
Y/N]
Thinking Yes, I feel my mind get assaulted on how the skill works.
'Observe.' I chant, feeling some mana leave me.
[Bag
Rank: Common]
'Huh, well I never knew that.' I thought sarcastically, before asking,
"System, can you give me a Hud?" After my request, I see a red, green, and blue bar with their respective amount at the top left corner of my eye, Seeing the blue on now at 640.
Doing mental math I realize that it only takes 10 mana even with the Hecate perk which means that it does indeed round up.
'Now, before I leave I should see where I am and if I can get a flight to New York.' I thought, thinking that it'd be stupid if I just tried walking there without any offensive magic.
'Speaking of that, System can I make my own spells?' I ask, hoping for a yes.
[Yes, but to make a spell one must know how it works. Lets say you want to make a sword, you'd have to know how to shape the mana and how much mana to use. Now if you want a fire sword, you'd need to have experience with fire magic, which is something you'll either have to figure out or learn from someone/thing.]
'Thats helpful.' I thanked, before deciding to do that after I get my info and head out.
When I was told I would be in a orphanage, I thought it'd be a minor in-connivence for my start, but while the system said that, I would have appreciated to have known I live in Los Angeles! I find it quite ironic that a Greek Demi-God is near the home of the Romans.
But as for my travel plan, since I'm relatively close to the Lotus casino and am (Hopefully) immune with my Gamer title, I can see if the fan theory on it's casino card if it has infinite money. After collecting what I need from there I can take a flight to New York and make my way to Camp via taxi.
Looking at the now rising sun I realize that I'm gonna have to leave as soon as possible before the Administrator wakes up. So grabbing my now packed bag and throwing it into my inventory, I walk out the door and make my way towards the airport.
While walking I realize that now that I'm a child, I won't be able to fly willy nilly. Remembering that my Mom is the Goddess of the Mist I decide to test it out. As I try I start to feel something in the air surrounding me, coating me I open my eyes to see a screen pop up.
[New Skill learned!
Mist Manipulation: Being a magical being, you have the ability to feel the mist and as the child of it's master, it bends to your will. (Will show definition of skill for the first time, then hide it on the list.)
Rank: Epic
Level: 1 (Xp: 63/100)
Costs: (X amount of Mana used) +(1/2X per minute)]
'Woah, due to my perks giving my magic Xp a boost the 50 I received is now 63? Very nice and easy to level up. And that was with just shifting it.' I thought, appreciating my learning how to control the mist with ease. Closing my eyes, I use my new skill and Cover my body with the mist and will it to show a older version of myself, around 22.
'Hell yeah, if this is what I look like when older I have a lot to look forward to.' I admired, enjoying how I look. Glancing at my mana I see it go from 650 to 600 and slowly trickle down at a pace of 1 a second, since its rounding down.
'So if what the spell says is true then I used 50 mana to make me look older and is supposed to be draining 1.25 per second but due to the son of Hecate perk I used 48 mana and is draining a total of 24 per minute. Percentages are so bullshit.' I Thought, realizing how broken my percentages are and that they are messed up.
[Mist Manipulation Level up 1]
[Mist Manipulation: The control over the Mist.
Rank: Epic
Level: 2 (Xp: 151/200)
Costs: (X amount of Mana used) +(1/2X per minute)]
'I'm guessing that at a higher level I might get a decrease in cost.' I thought, before approaching the Santa Monica Airport.
'Here the start of my adventure.' I thought before entering the Airport.
