The blank canvas was almost glaring back at him. Yongzheng picked up a piece of charcoal in order to distract himself from drowning in his tangled thoughts. The straight lines and curves slowly made sense as a clear portrait of a beautiful young woman occupied the white piece of paper.

Yongzheng tried his best to recall the accessories she had when he first came across her. A tinted tiny mark between her brows? Maybe a pair of earrings? Or probably nothing other than a lip tint.. He failed to make up the details.

He massaged his glabella. He took out his device, drafting a message quickly. With a last glance to make sure there were no errors he sent it out.
