Chapter 5

Every new student was now familiar with the school and studies had begun for everyone as supposed. They were now going to face the ultimate challenge which was a tournament. The other students from classes above were excited for it was always an interesting week for everyone. How the fresher students tried crazy moves to see if they had the magical power they imagined in their heads.

It was a game with its rules and every student was well prepared by their tutors who were the same who had gave them the magical tour.

Everyone made there way to their seats as the non-magical other students were prohibited from coming close to the stadium, not that they could even see a thing if they came closer.

The event began with a grand openning by the arrival of the royalty family. Students were excited as they could only see the king and the queen on few occasions. Everyone was directed to stand as the royal family along with the 4 heroes were welcomed majestically.

Lorna was struck by surprise after seeing Georgina who was actually a princess;the daughter to the king and queen. She observed her as she looked like a completely different person, she never thought she was actually a princess.

The king stood and raised his royalty symbol up signalling for the tournament to start.

The first group was released and the battle begun, the students fought as some got injured some even almost lost their lives in it. Groups after groups fought and the last one standing was to be considered champion. It was groups of four. The first group had Hunkins as its champion, the second was John and Meshack emerged champion in the third group.Now it was the battle of the fourth group that had Lorna with a few other students.

Everyone cheered as they watched the battle . Every student was observed as notes were being taken down by a certain group. Lorna emerged winner in the fourth group and now it was the ultimate battle of the four after the won battles.

The four quadruplets stood in the middle of the field awaiting the start horn to be blown, as everyone was discussing.

"You boys ready to go down?" lorna said looking fiercly at his brothers.

"Oh please dear sister, you cant take us down!" Hunkins said to her.

"How did you people even manage to become champions?" Lorna asked sarcastically.

"But listen here, you guys have to give me this win , i have rescued your asses two times . The princess is my friend and i need to get her approval" Lorna continued.

"You scared already we will win." Meshack joined in the conversation.

The men taking notes down were still in there discussion.

"I dont think there's need for the last battle " one of the men said.

" no it should be as it has always been custom" the man opposite to him answered.

Immediately the start horn was blown and the four began their final match.

"Here is the plan boys we take her down then we fight " Hunkins said to piss off his sister even more.

" you boys have just made me angry , Lorna said as she turned to them even more angry. The boys were all against her. Ready to take her down.

" wait whats this for even? " Meshack asked as they moved around Lorna all there focus on her.

"A battle i hear" John answered still looking at their target Lorna. Lorna moved around trying to protect herself, looking to which side the attack may come first from her three brothers, when all of a sudden Hunkins abruptly turned to his brothers, unaware of his trick to take them down. He took them all down which got them out of the ring and very angry at him for the betrayal.

"Mmh you so wicked brother" Lorna said.

"Less talking now dear sister and watch as i take you down , as i have John and Meshack" Hunkins was now throwing a side kick to get her sister to the ground when he was met with another side kick from her. She looked straight to him.

"You will not beat me brother!" Hunkins stopped and looked at her as if hypnotised.

Lorna took that opportunity to take him down. The men taking notes looked at each other wondering what had just happened considering they had all placed their bets on Hunkins winning as he had fought well all the other battles. Georgina stood up and started clapping and was followed with other students but confusion amidst everyone. No woman had ever won the tournament except for Georgina and this day her record had been broken by Lorna. Her gesture was followed with honour considering she was the only other woman to have won against all.

The men incharge took over as they declared her champion and everyone else who managed to get into the battle team. Her three brothers and her among a few outstanding boys in the tournament.

They were to be allowed entrances into the magical kingdom specifically the west side of the palace , This was due to their succes at the tournament and all the trainings happened there at the palace. All the the other students could only access the places allowed which were not part of the kingdom of Hummingheart.

The students were allowed to stay at the palace as they continue with their training before taken fully into the big team that had been training.

"Well done Lorna" Georgina congratulated Lorna.Georgina later helped her moving in to the trainees area at the palace.

"Thank you Georgina, oh sorry princess" she said smiling.

"I know it caught you by surprise" Georgina said as she opened the door to Lorna's new room.

"Welcome to my old room, you may find it very comfortable compared to the boys rooms" Georgina continued.

"So you stay close" Lorna asked abit worried since she was the only girl who made it to the few selected for training.

"No , abit far...the palace is so big but don't worry i will be your companion at the pleasure of my comfort so you won't get bored" Georgina cleared her worries.

The two girls kept on with chats as Lorna got her things well organized in the room.

Her brothers were no where to be seen in the palace they were all on the school premises busy with their unsolved mystery of the dead girl.They had gone to the library to dig for more information on the girl, when they met with Derrick Misati.

"Hey you are the boy from the orientation" John said after noticing him looking on the shelves for something.

"Yeah, and you are? "He asked as he kept on to his business.

" i am John, and looking for the files on sofia, i dont believe the report given on her death." John said attracting Derricks attention.

" i know right? I mean what kind of drug drains someone like that. You know what...., " he said looking around. "I actually did further research and what they wrote is complete lies...." He stopped when he noticed Hunkins walking towards their direction along with Meshack.

"Found anything John" Hunkins asked him as he looked weirdly at Derrick.

"Was about too, so Derrick you were saying" he said taking back his focus to Derrick.

"Can we trust them?" Derrick asked unsure.

"Yeah, they are my brothers, why are you so scared."John said clearing his doubt.

" someone threatened me, warned me, that if i continue doing what am doing he will kill me"Derrick said looking around before he continued. "It was this guy i have seen once and thats why am here looking to see if i can find anything more on him, he might be our killer!!!"
