Mr Caleb unsettled sent more and more men everyday to the sea in search of his son Mark. There was still no positive feedback of him being found and he would strike every man that came to give him the report with no news on his lost son. More lives were lost in search of Mark.
Elizabeth slightly knocked at his chambers where he was most times, he had summoned for her.
The door opened and she walked in standing just at the door.
"Come inside Elizabeth" Mr Caleb said from where he sat, near his study table.
"I have not been able to trace him yet I might need more time" she said looking at him.
"There is no time!" He said hitting the table. "Please you know how important it is for Mark to be found," he said calming down.
"I know but this is the blue storm ,it's very risky," she answered unmoved by his change in emotions.
"Do you believe this is actually a blue storm?...Elizabeth you know well what blue storms are and what they mean...and it can't be that they are back. I slaid them all! ALL OF THEM!!!! How can it be? Tell me ? What explains this? Cause I am sure this is the Queendomians trick they really think they can stop me! Those fools!" Mr Caleb said in anger and bitterness.
"Sir, I can't really tell what this is, but I will inform you as soon as I get a trace of Mark's magic," Elizabeth said hoping to be excused. She could clearly see that Mr Caleb's sanity was at risk. She continued "I would advise you take some rest, that will help you calm down."
"Make sure you tell me as soon as you can, I need my boy found. He is mine not theirs!"
The Dirak brothers were just at the door, they had something urgent to speak to their father. Elizabeth walked out after she was done with her conversation with him.
The Dirak brothers walked in just after Elizabeth walked out.
"What do you three want now?" He asked clearly annoyed by their presence.
"We understand we are all mourning the loss of one of us father, but the kingdom activities need to be run father," Manak said bravely.
His father, angered by his words "mourning the loss of one of us," he angrily held him tight by his shirts raising him above the grounds. Melaik and Mike tried stopping him but they could not be able to.
"My son is not dead!"Mr Caleb screamed at him.
"Are we not your sons father? That Mark's dissapearance has caused you to treat us in this way? We are also grieving him but your coldness is really hurting father!? Manak cried out to his father, still above the ground. His father let him fall with a thud walking away from him.
"The three of you without one of you makes you weak,to the kingdom and to everything we are doing, but you just can't understand that can you Manak? The Queendomians are probably making closer moves towards us now!" Mr Caleb said.
"I understand father but we are still strong we can fight against anyone who comes against us," Manak said getting up.
"How about our brother?we forget him and go back to our duties?is that what you mean Manak?"Mike asked his brother Manak as his temper went up.
"We were not here to discuss all this you brought up. This is the time we should be united. Alot of people are dying and some are dissapearing mysteriously ,we have more problems that need us," Melaik tried changing the heated environment.
They all calmed down finally having a normal conversation after all the rising problems every now and then. Alot was not done ever since Mark's dissapearance and this made them realise they needed to be more careful with everything they were doing.
"Okay we shall get back to our normal duties as the search continues. If anyone knows Mark's girlfriend whereabouts I urge to be informed immediately. She may be of help at this time," Mr Caleb said after they all had come to an agreement.
"We haven't heard from her ever since we came back." Melaik said.
"Find men to look for her as well, I need to have a word with her. Your mother's spirit must remain in the family. If by the time we are done with the mission and your brother's whereabouts are not yet found, one of you will have to take over his place in her life." Mr Caleb said.
"What do you mean father? Lorna is Mark's better half no one can have her but him," Melaik said.
"I understand that she carries mother's spirit but that does not mean in any way that Mark is gone" Mike added.
"I know that son but with everything that is happening our plans need to be executed sooner. Now who is capable of that responsibility?"
"I would suggest Japheth, he had a thing for her" Manak said jokingly.
"No, he is not the right candidate. He was not the only one who had feelings for her, was he Melaik?"Mr Caleb said looking at Melaik's direction who looked down ashamed before looking up with confidence.
"I will do as you ask father, I will look for her." He answered after he bravely looked up.
Mike walked away angered by how they were already planning for Mark's soulmate as if he was gone. "I know you will be back brother," he said to himself after banging the door mercilessly behind him.
Melaik went to where Georgina was.He knew she was the one person who could help him find Lorna.
"Why should I help you uncle? I mean that woman gave me a permanent scar. I hate her with such burning passion," Georgina said patting her cat. She was at utmost peace as she believed that after Mark leaving it could mean that Lorna had to leave the palace and head back to the hostels.
"Because your grandfather demands of it. It would make him happy to know it's you who helped me find her," Melaik answered her hoping to convince her to help him. He gave her some of the details as to why he was also looking for her.
"Mmmh...let me think..." She said going deep into her thoughts.
"I will help ,but you will have to let me have my vengeance on her..." She continued after a long pause.
Melaik couldn't say no to her wish. He knew well this could make her change her mind if he were to disagree.
"Okay..." he said startling.
"Are you really doing this out of duty?" She said getting up to face him." I can tell from your eyes... from how you always looked at her ,and how you envy uncle Mark since the beginning of his relationship with her. I can feel it all uncle ,in your atmosphere. All of it" she was now looking straight to his eyes.
