~ 74: The Trial - Part 4 ~

I didn't have any consciousness of what I was doing. Someone had come in and dragged me out. I barely remember my clothes, except my undergarments, being stripped off and a bucket of cold water thrown all over me. I gasped at the coldness of the water dripping down my braided hair. Yet I was still not awake from my horrifying dream.

I shoved the same dress down and worked on drying my tangled, braided hair. The pain had hollowed my heart and there existed only sorrow in it. I was lost in a world I didn't know existed and there was none who could save me from my plight.

The horses and carriages were ready to be taken to the desired destination. Before I was pushed into one of them, the green-eyed masked beast came to stand in front of me.

"How did you like spending your time in our kingdom's dungeons?" he enquired as he faced the four-storied palace. "Perhaps today your memory is clearer than yesterday?"
