~ 78: An Odious Encounter - Part 3 ~

My heart should have calmed down, but it seemed to flare up even more. I was beginning to feel quite dizzy and lose my other senses as my heart ran rampant. It had spiked up even more at the arrival of the person. After hearing his voice the next instant of my prayer, I wished I had never made such a deal with my fate.

"Kindly enlighten me on why the two of you are here, doing whatsoever in this dark place," said the voice again as the tall, strong built man came into view. "Was it something that one's eyes would rather not see?"

The scarce amount of light that fell on his face was enough for anyone to know who had decided to walk along this particular corridor.

"Warming up the young lady, Your Highness," he replied as he rubbed the valley between my mounds and the part above it. "I heard Lynda say that the foreigner was suffering from hypothermia, which has kept her in her room all day."
