I wondered if we had switched places or had some of his behaviour rubbed off on me. But then it was because he had still left his shields open and sometimes, I was able to see what he was thinking as I sneaked into it like my own home.

This was the joy that Lucas must have enjoyed from seeing my shields open. But this was a dark person's mind where only tainted thoughts stayed. And yet I was entering the place, despite knowing the dangers that lurked there.
