~ 146: Trading Secrets and Ideas - Part 2 ~

I sat and wrote my letter sincerely, crying a few tears as I wondered how they were living in the only home near the sea without me or any other relative of theirs close to their house. The last I had heard was them living well enough with some difficulties that came up as my mum's health was a little off as she visited the mountains for the fruits more often.

That had been quite a long time ago that I couldn't remember when I had spoken on the phone with them in a place where the signal was mostly poor. Hence, the people there were as good as backward and could live without their phones most of the time.

When I finished, I turned to look at Lucas, whose brows had come closer due to the extent of his deep concentration. I rubbed away the stream left by the tears and rested my chin on my hands as I watched him work seriously. The sight of him looked too good to be true that for a moment my mind nearly strayed off to a dangerous place.
