Chapter 14: Tournament: part 1

After the "welcome to hell" statement the students were of course terrified of going to Mr. Phil's class. everyone of the students were able to get back to their dorms after class except for Sul who had to get healing from the school nurse.

After the whole shenanigans the dorms between Isaiah, Vil and Sul was quiet and filled with tension until Sul came back from the hospital looking better than he was before the training experience.

Sul apologized to Isaiah for attacking him and Isaiah also apologized to Sul and Vil for his and his friend's actions. At this time Isaiah Vil and Sul started to form a great friendship.

Days pass and turn to weeks as the weeks turn into months.

[2 months later]

Sul is seen standing on a tall tower with some students around him. "Sul what are you doing up there get down" Mrs Kan demands. "NO NOT WITHOUGHT GETTING REVENGE" Sul replies. "you're being dramatic, stop being a drama queen and get down here right now" Mrs. Kan demands again.

"MAKE ME" Sul screams. Vil and Isaiah could be seen face palming as they have spent two months with Sul they know how much of a hassle he is. "Make ME? are you provoking me?" Mrs Kan replies.

"Mrs Kan I think It will be much more suitable if we just ignore him he's always like this" Isaiah replies. Vil drags him back and warns him "Its no use Mrs Kan is probably the most petty person besides Sul I have ever seen".

Isaiah knew too, but he never really thought she was the reason he often thought it was Sul's fault for being on bad terms with her.

Realization hit him as he sees Mrs Kan seemingly raising her hands with her palms facing up wards and standing straight up. Vibe technique, as these words come out of her mouth a tornado like wind started to form on each of her palms. Sul looks down as he realizes what's about to happen.

"YOU WOULDN'T DARE!" Sul screams. "oh I think she would and she is about to!" Isaiah Screams

"VIBE TECHNIQUE, VIOLENT WIND TORNADO" Mrs Kan Shouts.

she points her Palms at Sul whose eyes are wide open. "Wait Mrs Kan you don't need to do this we can talk about this" the wind moved like a horizontal tornado with the bottom from Mrs Kan's palm and the widest and most dangerous part moving towards Sul.

Sul struggled to hold on to the tip of the pole as the wind was too much. Sul finally let go of the pole crashing into a wall then falling to the ground with an explosion of dust and wind.

Mrs Kan then walks towards Sul looking down at him. She had a serious look which someone could have interpreted "as make one wrong move and you will breathe no more".

"Hey Mrs Kan how ya doin hehhehehe. I heard you got a promotion hehehhehehhehe." Sul tries to distract her from the events that occurred. 'I'm so dead.' Sul thought.

"right now I'm super mad and I'm having a hard day so don't patronize me..." Mrs Kan says in a cold tone. "someone is moody" Sul says under his breath. Vil and Isaiah were as disappointed as ever.

As class ended, Sul Isaiah and Vil could be seen walking to Mr Phil's class. 2 months ago Sul was barely able to cross these hall ways in 20 minutes but now he can cross them in 1. same for some of the other students in Mr Phil's class. " I still can't believe you chased a bird today just because It at one of your straw berry bars." Vil says.

"I had to, the thing was mocking me and making those evil smiles after stealing my bars, I wanted nothing but to end it" Sul says

"wow your mind Is really twisted the fact you would go as far as to chase a bird through the whole school which is under normal circumstances a 1 hour run, but I guess since your able to use your energy well it took you about 4 minutes. and you even chased it up a pole where it escaped outside." Isaiah Says. "I know right" Vil says "all that work only for a single straw berry bar" both Vil and Isaiah tell Sul

"are you guys both done because If you are I would like to prepare myself for this class"

"here we are the gate way to hell" the trio say at the same time.

as they walk In they could see a familiar face a face that had a lot of resentment in its eyes. this face was none other than Mr Phil's. The hard work of dealing with Sul was trouble enough, but the rivalry between Isaiah and Kayla had fueled his hate for Isaiah and Vil on the other hand Is just usually caught up in the mess of his two friends.

"Hey mr Phil how's your-"

"to your positions now" Mr Phil replies coldly before Sul could even finish his sentence

"someone's a little salty this morning I guess Mr Phil thats what happens when your old" Sul confidentially says out loud. "Isaiah and Vil seemed to look very embarrassed as they know Mr Phil was Jealous about the fact Mrs Kan beat him to the promotion and with Sul being Sul there was going to be trouble.

a few feet away Kenji and some nobles look at Isaiah walking and talking with Sul and Vil. Isaiah may have come into good terms with them, but Kenji and the rest haven't.

"I still can't believe he's hanging out with those peasant scum tsk." Kenji babbles. Kayla could be seen looking at Isaiah at a distance but this time something no someone else catches her gaze instead of looking at Isaiah, she Paid more attention to the two commoners walking besides him. "I see so that's why he's taken a liken to them." she mumbles an eerie smile plastered on kayla's face as she continued to stare at Vil.

Vil could be seen shivering from the distance. "Vil are you ok?" Sul asks. "are you injured?" Isaiah asks. "no its just that all of a sudden the air got cold". Vil terrifyingly says. Kayla then moved her gaze to Sul. Sul began to shiver. "Sul not you too" Isaiah with a surprised look. "for some reason the temperature dropped its like i'm a rabbit being watched by an eagle ready to swap me up and eat me anytime" Sul shakenly says. "Isaiah didn't care much and thought they were both being dramatic

just as Isaiah was about to walk away an abnormally large eagle was seen flying towards him. "AHHHH ITS AN EAGLE I'M GONNA DIE" Sul screams. "you idiot that isn't an eagle thats-thats my annoying twin sister" Isaiah roles his eyes as the very presence of his sister disgusts him.

"what's wrong Isaiah" Kayla says as she lands next to him "since when did you start hanging out with these two?" She asks. Isaiah ignored her. "oh you made some friends? That's strange. didn't you tell me nobles can't be friends with peasants? that's why your disliked by others" Kayla teases.

Isaiah still kept ignoring her.

"so now what? your going to become buddy buddy with them and forget about us your family?" Kayla teases some more "oh i have an idea you won't be mad if i break their legs would u?" Kayla goes on

"WAIT WAIT A MINUTE BREAK OUR LEGS ISNT THAT AGSINST SCHOOL LAWS?" Sul screams.

"I don't think..." Isaiah stops

"mmmm?" Kayla reacts.

"I don't think I'm disliked by others" Isaiah finishes.

"eh!!" Sul exclaimed

a spark goes by Sul, Vil and Kayla's head.

"my my Isaiah then you haven't been aware of your surroundings." Kayla taunts with an innocent smile.

"eeeeh" Sul exclaims again

a spark goes by Sul, Vil and Isaiah's head this time

dark Vibe energy began to gather around Isaiah as 6 words come out of his mouth.

"I will kill you Kayla Silva." as Isaiah's face became identical to a psychopaths.

everyone could feel the tension in the air build up.

"Vibe technique" Isaiah speaks the energy around seemed to intensify more.

"be gone"

as Isaiah was about to unleash his technique a hand stopped him.

"you kids really don't know how to give an old man a break" mr Phil says.

"I want every single one of you to get to your spots today." after everyone got to their spots mr Phil began speaking "I will be informing you about the up coming tournament." "tournament? what for?" Sul asked "this tournament is going to gauge your strengths and weaknesses. this tournament might also determine which squad you will get picked by." He adds. "squads?" Isaiah adds.

"oh right i guess there is no reason not to teach you about the lesson now."

"Squads are composed of individual members with different abilities. Each squad is composed of a vibe master being the leader and an expert Vibe user being the second in command..." Mr Phil goes on about the duties of squads and why they exist. everyone paid attention and understood what Mr Phil said but a certain "Sul" had been looking else where and had not been paying attention. Mr Phil saw this and asked Sul to explain what the main point of the lesson was.

"um the main point of the lesson was" Sul said

*DING*

the bell rang as it was time to head back to the dorms as school was done for the day.

"saved by the bell" Vil says

"phew that was close." Sul says

"Sul you really need to get your attitude checked" Isaiah says

[The Next day]

Sul made his way mrs Kan's class this time he was the first. some where not too far away from Mrs Kan's class. A wild Isaiah and a chaotic Kayla could be seen running through the halls at high speeds. pushing and smashing into anyone who gets in their way including teachers.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP" a teacher yells at them, but something came out of Isaiah and Kayla's mouth. "GET OUT OF THE WAY SCUM THIS DOESN'T CONCERN YOU WHY DON'T YOU MIND YOUR DAMN BUSSINESS" they yell. "the teacher could be seen looking pale as the words hit her like arrows. The commotion kept going though the halls as both make it to mrs kan's class.

by the time they got there 80% of the population of the school had been knocked out due to the rivalry. Isaiah and Kayla both try to be the first to set foot in mrs K's class. "FIRST" they both scream. Sul had been watching them from mrs k's class and enjoying the show. "actually I'm first" Sul tells them with a smirk. Isaiah and Kayla had their jaw wide open as this was totally unexpected. "are you saying we got beaten BY A PEASANT" kayla screams.

"I'm going to kill you Sul." Tension appeared in the room as Kayla stretched her arm towards sul and appeared next to him grabbing his neck and shaking him back and forth "i will chock every single life out of you" "Kayla what's going on" Mrs Kan says as she walks in the room

"oh nothing e playing a game with Sul its called beat me to Mrs K's class and i will kindly hold you by your neck with the grip of an eagle's talon" Kayla does her normal innocent smile. Sul who was chocking was gasping for air as his eyes looked like they could pop out any minute. class ends after 3 hours and now it's time for lunch everyone goes to the cafeteria for their favorite snacks the shool had more than enough money to get all types of food for students".

after an hour of lunch it was now time for the second class of the day. Sul made his way to class Mr Phil was already present. This time Sul dared not be the first. The two rivals make it to class again smashing and shoving everyone just like before. Class starts again and Mr Phil gets everyone back to their spots and continues telling them information about the tournament.

"I received more information about the tournament. The tournament is in two months. Three vibe masters will be observing the battles and if yo are thinking to your self "who they are?" well you will have to be there to find out. Also it's not mandatory to participate, Though it will be a great opportunity. If you manage to get the Vibe master's approval there is a good chance you will be legible for early graduation. So you all have to train these coming 2 months and get stronger surpass your limits." MR Phil finishes.

class ends. and everyone goes their separate ways for training. Sul and Vil go to their own training spot. This time Isaiah decided to come train with them. they train for the rest of the day till its almost dusk.

"2 months huh" Sul says looking at the setting sun.
