Having long hair that reached knees was rare. But not so rare that they couldn't find any either.

But the hair reaching knees even after turning it into braids is very rare. The hair should be even longer to get that result.

And such long hair was turned into twin braids? This is even more rare to see.

She smirked before giving the Merman a knowing look and nodded her head, "I know. Thank you for this precious information Merman. I will take care of this matter now. I will take my leave."

With that she turned around and left the area without waiting any longer.

"Merman?" He asked while raising an eyebrow.

But his question did not reach her ears as she had long left the place.

The man whom Tanzi always thought of as the Merman looked at her back with interest and amusement.

The corner of his lips curved upwards as his body suddenly turned transparent and at once vanished from the sight.

If he was really a merman as Tanzi had thought, of course he wouldn't be able to do so.

But she had no chance to get to know about this any more as she had left before he could speak any longer.

If at this moment, Tanzi were to come back and see, she would not be able to find any trace of a living being like a merman.

The lake water flowed at its own pace. Whenever the water touches a rock inside, it causes some small ripples within but except that there would be nothing else.

There is definitely no living being inside. This included small fishes too.

This lake had the cleanest water on the entire planet but Tanzi did not know of this fact yet.

She may not even care about this because for her, this man was just a stranger and nothing else anyway.

On the other hand, Tanzi calmly followed the man's instructions and walked in the path he told her.

As she walked, she felt that the path was familiar and yet she couldn't find where to go. She couldn't help but sigh.

She had very vague memories of the Elf and thus she was feeling this familiarity. But is being just a little familiar much useful to her if she can't find what comes next?

If Fenella's memories were completely seen by her, then everything would have been a lot easier to deal with.

Just because of the lack of those memories, now Tanzi had to deal with so many unknown problems in her life. As if she did not have enough in her own plate.

As she walked, she looked at her surroundings. As she felt everything familiar, she was sure that the Merman had told her the correct route to her 'home'.

But Tanzi was used to her 'pink powder' whenever she entered an unknown area.

Even if she was in any danger, she would always rely on her pink powder to find a way out.

If was going to a new place, she would always be cautious and check her way using the powder before taking a turn.

Now that she was totally in a different region that she was used and without her wand in her hand, she felt like she was going to face the biggest challenge in her life.

For the first time in her life, no maybe she should say for the first time in her two lives, she was a little scared.

She now literally had nothing with her.

If she had her powers or to say more clearly, if she had the knowledge of her powers now, she would not be as hesitant to take a step forward.

But now, she had no confidence in herself to step forward in this instant. But she had so much to do.

With that, she came to a decision and stopped in her tracks.

It was clear that someone had killed Fenella. If Tanzi was to go back to her place without being prepared, the people who killed Fenelle would definitely try that once again.

To face them, she had to prepare herself.

Hence instead of turning to the left, which would lead to Fenelle's hometown, Tanzi turned right.

She would change the trajectory of Fenella's life with this one step.
