A New Beginning

Su Feng got up early. He walked out of the house for exercise . Others were still asleep. Su Feng had this habit from his past life .

Due to the strange dream or something else , he was unable to wake up early last time but it was still his routine .

After running for about an hour , he sat down at bottom of a tree. It was only 4 AM and he only saw a few amount of people. Many mages in this world relied on mana so they didn't focused on physical body so it wasn't rare .

Sitting , he thought about his strength . He was not in any type of danger so he didn't require that much strength but it would still be good if he could gain some strength .

Putting Magic aside , he could strengthen his physical body and cultivate . Cultivation was impossible now as he was unable to carry refined qi .

The Qi that is present in the nature is wild and unrefined . So a proper qi refinement technique has to be used to refine the energy to make it usable.

The refined qi would not last long out of the body so even if he could refine using high level refine technique , it would be useless as it would flow out of body as he didn't have nerves door to store the qi .

As for improving his physique , there were many methods : one was herbs , another was exercise and training , another was refining the body with qi . He also knew many others but they were either unusable currently and some were brutal.

He would do exercise regularly and herbs would come in after his visit to magic city . As for refining the body with qi , since he could not store the qi it was very hard .

Even without refining , he could do so with the wild qi energy but this would have severe affect and it was a very slow and painful process .

The speed with wild qi would be about one fourth of that with refined qi . Plus , this would leave harmful particles in his body . But this wasn't much issue for Su Feng as he could remove those harmful substances with herbs .

As for the pain , it was not even worth mentioning for him . In his past life , he has even tried the brutal method which which he didn't considered in this life .

It was too brutal to himself.

He has rested in this particular tree as he had felt that the concentration here was better than random place .

So he started to gather the surrounding qi and make it hit his skin directly . This would make his physical body strong .

The wild qi energy slowly disappeared in his skin . His skin slowly by slowly looked to be tanned . It look a bit , just a tiny bit rough .

After about one hour , he stopped the process . Looking at his body , he could only sigh .

"What a slow process ? If I had refined qi in my body , I could do as much in 10 minute . "

He could only sigh . He has already noticed that everyone in this world had no nerves gate .

This was like a form of adaptation . In his previous world , people didn't have mana circle around there heart but instead they had nerves door but in this world they had no nerves door but mana circles .

This was like , human having gills if they were meant to live in water .

He was curious if the ones awakened as knight warrior had mana circle or nerves door .

He could have checked it in test if he found out about it . He only found about the situation when he scanned Li Sa . She also had no nerves door so he scanned others and noticed that it was the same .

Nevermind . He would check sometime .

He got up and looked at his hand . It looked tanned and it was smelly . Fortunately he had a change of clothes in Capsule which he had carried .

He took out a towel and wiped all over his open skin . Although he had no water , the smell still was gone from him . He threw the towel the nearby bin along with his T-Shirt that he was wearing .

After changing to new T-Shirt he walked toward Li Na's house .

On the way he found something interesting . A girl and three guys were having an argument .

It seems the boys were hitting on her as she was alone . The girl looks were quite likeable so it was nothing strange .

But it was interesting due to two reason . The girl wasn't backing up even against three guys and the most important reason why he found it interesting was that he found a boy looking to be around his age quietly from a side .

From what Su Feng could sense , this boy who looked to be around his age had quite dangerous aura . The aura was leaking unconsciously and it was unnoticeable for most but Su Feng sensed it .

He also silently looked at the scene to mostly the boy to see what he would do .

But Su Feng was bound to be disappointed . The groups were still young and they were not that evil as he expected them to be . After arguing for a while , the boys left the scene and the girl went to other side .

The boy who was looking also sighed and left . But before he left , he looked toward where Su Feng was .

Su Feng was watching from a bit far , and it wasn't very bright so if the boy had sensed him , his senses were great .
