The sound of the shout resonates with in the entire town, making some people look at the direction of the commotion.

Normally, people would be annoyed at such noise in the early morning, but to town's people, it is a funny sight and they would just giggle and laughed.

"Second Shixiong! Let go!"

"Never!"

"Shixiong! You're hurting Ren-Shimei!"

"Second Shixiong!!!" The girl whined as she crushed in a death hug by the whiney and clingy bastard of a Shixiong.

"You can't leave! Ren-Shimei! I won't let you!!"

"I swear to God second Shixiong! I'm going to cut your d—"

"A-Ruo, let A-Ren go, I need to talk to her before we leave for tomorrow" XieLun purposely interrupted the girl from finishing her vulgar sentence. The boy whined before he let's go, defeated.

"A-Ren" XieLun beckoned the girl to follow to her quarters. Wuye JaRen laughed before following the woman from behind. JaRen happily skipped through her mother's room and sat on top of the bed on a lotus position.

"Alright A-Niang, what's up with you, suddenly want to go to Yunmeng?" The girl laughed as the Sect Leader sat down beside her, gently patting her head while the girl looks up with confusion written all over her face.

"I had been aware of what you've been doing lately," She smiled , "You've been reading and watching 'our story' on your phone for the last few weeks"

Trying to change the future and fate of your beloved dimension is not as easy as you think it is. Well, It's not like, changing fates is just a normal job and responsibility for a average girl in her 20's! But...if it is, then Wuye JaRen would do her best as if her life depended on it, metaphorically and dramatically, yes.

"But you must also know that your health is important too" Wuye XieLun looked at the child with worry. The girl stared back, face seemed to be guilty.

JaRen sigh, "Yeah, I know... just..." How was she supposed to say that it wasn't about changing the fates is keeping her up all night! Ugh! Why is everything so frustrating?!

Seeing the girl seemed to struggle, XieLun patted her head affectionately. The gesture calmed down girl as she was less tense.

"A-Niang, don't worry...I will take care of myself"

"Are you sure?" XieLun raised a brow playfully.

"Yes, I'm sure" JaRen laughed.

JaRen couldn't bear to leave her home but she knew she could always visit, anytime. Hugging her Shixiongs and Shijies, she wailed.

"Wahhhhh!!!! I'm going to miss you all!!!"

"Oh, A-Ren, you know you could visit us, anytime you want" third Shijie said.

"Wahh!!! Yao-gege!!!" JaRen ran up to the boy and tackled him but Meng Yao stood his ground.

"You don't have to worry A-Ren, we could always meet each other"

JaRen sniffed but there is no sign of tears on her face. JaRen nodded but kept hugging Meng Yao, he laughed and pats her head.

"A-Ren, let's go" XieLun said after talking to Lady Meng.

"Don't worry, A-Shi, I assure you that I'll come back"

"But what if you won't?" Meng Shi asked nervously.

"You could write me a letter anytime and I'll make sure that I'll receive them" XieLun smiled, "But for now, I had to go and I'll leave the entire Sect to you"

"XieLun, I don't know if I could do it"

"A-Shi, you are talented and responsible, and that already assured me that the Sect will be left in good hands" XieLun placed a hand on Meng Shi's shoulder. "Besides, you are not alone, everyone here will help you, right?" She turned to her disciples, they nodded 'yes' in agreement.

"See? So, will you do it? If not for the Sect, then do it for me and A-Ren"

"I'll try" Meng Shi finally said with sad eyes.

"Then we'll be going now" XieLun smiled before she was hugged by the woman, she hugged back before they let go. "A-Ren, let's go"

XieLun smiled when she saw the girl hug her every Shixiongs and Shijies, especially her Yao-gege, she almost won't let go of him.

Before they left the town, they bid goodbye to the town's people and left to Lotus Pier.

The sound of water ripples calmed one's mind as the boat was being rowed to the docks, the water is clear like crystal and filled with lotus flower and pods.

Wuye JaRen leaned slightly to the side and dipped her hand on the cool water.

"I read on the novel that Yunmeng is 'other-worldy' and they kept their doors locked and doesn't let any commoners in" JaRen said in wonder.

"You see A-Ren, BaiheWuye Sect and MeishanYu Sect were far long allies, and it seems that it wasn't placed on the 'story' isn't it?"

JaRen shook her head, "No, it wasn't"

When they arrived at the dock, they slowly walked out from the boat. Walking through the bustling market, the girl looked around.

"And leave a child like you all alone?" XieLun hummed.

"A-Niang! You already know that I'm far more older than that!!"

"Alright, alright but do you already know where to go after?"

"Yes, from watching everything for many times, yes"

"Alright then, just don't go around for too long or too far, alright?" XieLun patted her head, smiling as the girl in front of her, pouted.

Wuye JaRen nodded and went to explore the town. XieLun smiled as she watched the girl sprint to a candy stand, good thing she slipped a pouch on the girl's robes before she walked away.

Wuye XieLun continued to head towards Lotus Pier while Wuye JaRen checked all the sweets. The vendor smiled at her giddiness.

"Young girl, what kind of sweets do you want? Hm?" The kind man asked. Wuye JaRen stared at the certain sweet.

I think it's called tanghulu? Or Sugar coated haw? Hawthorn?

"This?" The man held up the sweet. Then JaRen remembered, she doesn't have any money on her. That was when she tried to rummage through her robes, she felt a pouch.

"Hm? Ah! A-Niang probably slipped it in before I walked away! Ah... A-Niang is so thoughtful!"

Wuye JaRen smiled and turned to the kind man.

"How many do you want?"

"Three please!" JaRen smiled as they exchange her money for the sweet.

"Now, now kid, too much sweets will damage your teeth if you eat too much of it!" The man said jokingly, Wuye JaRen giggled and smiled at the man.

"Don't worry mister, I'll give some of it to my Mother! And thank you by the way!" Wuye JaRen laughed as she waved at the man, who waved back as she continues to explore the town.

Wuye JaRen stopped at a field, where there seemed to be people, not so far away from where she was standing. Tired of standing, JaRen leaped on a nearby tree and took a bite from her tanghulu. She grinned at the sweetness, the sugar coat melts in her mouth as she chewed on the fruit.

"Hm? What is girl like you doing in this place?"

Wuye JaRen almost dropped her sweets from shock. That voice...

She turned to her side and saw that face, that oh-so-familiar face. Before she knew what she's doing, the word slipped from her mouth.

"Xian-gege"

The room was silent, as the three leaders sat there in the room, sedate and calmly. The sound of tea cups being lifted and casually drinking, filled the silent room.

"Sect Leader Wuye, it is an honor for you to visit Yunmeng" Sect Leader Jiang, Jiang FengMian smiled while Madam Yu had a cold yet calm gaze.

"Sect Leader Wuye, what brings you here?"

"Sect Leader Jiang, Madam Yu, I apologize for the intrusion and suddenly informing of my arrival at such late time" Wuye XieLun bowed down.

"Sect Leader Wuye, The BaiheWuye Sect and MeishanYu Sect are long timed allies, as the Madam of YunmengJiang Sect, you are considered as a guest" Madam Yu said as she took a sip from her tea, prepared by her two maids.

"I am greatly thankful for your hospitality, Madam Yu" Wuye XieLun bowed again. "And to answer Madam Yu's previous question...

"You see, some of our nearby clans and Sects had been requesting for my assistance lately and it would be unfortunate to leave my child on Baihe, without somebody looking after her.

"My disciples are busy in cultivation and training, even if my child does learn cultivation, I also want her to learn different types of training. And I hope that Sect Leader Jiang and Madam Yu would allow my request"

"Oh! I'm not lost, just exploring Yunmeng and saw beautiful things, scenery and women" JaRen took two bites from her tanghulu, after finishing the first stick, she start to eat the second one.

"Oh? Did you also saw beautiful men?" Wei WuXian smiled as he raised a brow.

"I prefer women than men, but" Wuye JaRen returned the smile, "Xian-gege is also beautiful!"

"Aw, you are so sweet A-Ren!"

"Hehe"

"Wei WuXian! Where the hell are you?!" Another voice called out. Wei WuXian laughed out loud then called back.

"Jiang Cheng!"

"What the are you doing up there?! Are you flirting with another girl again?!"

"No!" Wei WuXian jumped down and Wuye JaRen followed. "This is just a little sister I found wandering in Lotus Pier"

"Hello" JaRen waved at the scowling male.

"Jiang Cheng, courtesy name, Jiang WanYin" Jiang Cheng bowed and turned to Wei WuXian. "Wei WuXian, a disciple said that we had a guest, so stop with your shenanigans and let's go!" He grabbed Wei WuXian's arm and dragged him.

Then, Wuye JaRen remembered that she has to go to Lotus Pier also. She ran up to the two males as she held her tanghulu on her right hand tightly and secured her sword on the other.

"Xian-gege! Young Master Jiang! Wait for me!", When she finally caught up to them, both were confused.

"A-Ren, is there something else you need?" Wei WuXian asked at the panting girl.

"Nope! Just remembered that A-Niang is also waiting for me at Lotus Pier"

"Your Mother?" Jiang Cheng eyed the girl, then his expression changed, as if he remembered something. "The disciple who asked for us said that our guest was a Sect Leader and her daughter, then you must be Sect Leader's daughter"

"Oh! Then, I'm sorry for my rude approach earlier" Wei WuXian said awkwardly, scratching his head after being hit from behind by Jiang Cheng for being rude.

"Nah, it's okay! I don't really mind it that much!" Wuye JaRen laughed as she bite to her tanghulu as they continued walking, engaging to a conversation.

"So, A-Ren, are you also a cultivator?" Wei WuXian asked.

"Yup, since I was at a young age!"

"There are not much female cultivator" Jiang Cheng commented, "Most of them are healers, so it kind of surprised me that a young girl like you is a cultivator, a less feminine too"

"Yeah, it's just not my style to wear those for female," Wuye JaRen tilts her head to the side, "I preferred to wear of those of male and besides, I like my own style"

Wei WuXian, "Your own style?"

"Yup, I made my own robes and clothes, sometimes A-Niang buys me clothes too and she sometimes buys me cloths and fabrics, A-Niang is so nice!" Wuye JaRen smiled.

"A-Ren, you said earlier that you preferred women than men?" Wei WuXian mentioned.

"Yup" JaRen nodded. "I don't have that much interest in men than in women"

"Oh? Then, is there someone?" Wei WuXian asked curiously.

"Nah, still single" Wei WuXian laughed at that before being smacked in the head.

"Young Master Jiang, you really seemed to like hitting Xian-gege do you?" Wuye JaRen laughed between bites.

"He's being a idiot" Jiang Cheng huffed.

"And A-Ren, why don't you also give Jiang Cheng a nickname?" Wei WuXian suggested and Jiang Cheng scowled at him.

"Then, Young Master Jiang, can I call you Cheng-gege?" Wuye JaRen said with hopeful eyes.
