Background Storyline (Signing up as a new player)
Days passed, and in a blink, it's the weekends already. Unable to stay home all the time, Allyn always spends most of the weekends with his best and only friend.
Locking themselves in Gray's room, both friends did what they always do best, yeah, you guessed it, video gaming. This is an online multiplayer game and a very addictive one at that.
"Alright, I have to get back home," says Allyn as he gets on his feet.
"Is it time already?" Gray asked. He looks a little dejected but tried to keep cool.
"Yes, it is,"
Today is the day of the big in-game announcement and Allyn understandably could not afford to miss this.
Gray escorts his friend down the stairs. He is still reluctant and doesn't want to be left alone.
"You sure you don't want to sleep over? We have abundant popcorn," Gray said, hoping to make his friend stay.
"Can't stay," Allyn replied. It seems Gray's offer did not move him in the slightest.
"Hey, did you know?... my sister is in love with you." Gray wasn't giving up yet.
"Yeah… right."
"DAMN IT!" Gray cursed.
"Gray! if I hear such a word from you, I will be forced to cut those lips off," Gray's mom's voice could be heard from the kitchen.
"She heard that?"
"Yeah, you shouted,"
Exiting Gray's house, Allyn picks his bike and rides back home as usual.
Allyn rushed upstairs, avoiding being seen by anyone since he didn't want any disturbance. He met his sister on the way and the atmosphere suddenly became cold.
Without a word, they passed each other, each of them moved in the opposite direction. Allyn opens the lock on his door before gaining access to his room.
Allyn rarely locks his bedroom door, but after he had received the Virtual Gaming device, he had to do so, especially due to his sister's envious behavior.
"Here goes nothing," Allyn mumbles as he places the gamepad in the HMD and then wears it over his head, just like a bicycle helmet.
His views got blocked by a dark background. He could not sense himself being in his bedroom.

An interface appeared right in front of his view. It was at that moment Allyn noticed he could still see the rest of his body even inside the game.
"Wow, this is cool," says Allyn.
He then lifts his left hand and taps on the word; SIGN UP.
A new interface appeared. This is where he will have to put down his account information.

Clicking on the word; ENTER, Allyn's point of view immediately starts moving swiftly, almost like he's traveling through space. Once he came to a stop, the background storyline about the game began playing.

BACKGROUND STORYLINE:
Once upon a time, on a parallel planet where Titanic creatures never went extinct, a meteorite hitting the planet resulted in humankind's evolution. Every living being underwent a new Lifeform, Titanic creatures became more powerful, some of them attained intelligence, putting them at the top of the food chain and they, in turn, became deadly to humans' survival.
To these beings, we are nothing but a pest in their land. Wiping all humans from existence is as easy as accidentally crushing a delicate egg. They looked down upon us and failed to notice the transformation humans have been going through for the past centuries... until it was too late.
A hero who's known as a 'Titan Slayer' emerges after actively feeding himself with the blood of multiple powerful titans, and with the newfound power, he slew the strongest titan known as The Lord of all Titans and fed on this titan just as always. Thus, as a result, our hero evolved and became the new Lord. He became more powerful than the previous and every titan had no choice but to bow.
We all thought this would be the vindication for all humans. However, with the new existence our hero attained, he also became one of our greatest adversaries, practically a god himself...
... If only a new and humble Titan Slayer could save us from our struggles and prevent the extinction of humanity... we will be gratefully indebted for the rest of our lives.

The backstory ended and Allyn immediately got transported to a city through a portal.
"Whoa, this is unprecedented," Allyn is astonished.
Other players are occasionally getting warped through the portal. This must be the starting point as a new gamer.
Every player had their username written right at the top of their heads, some of them had weird names with aren't very unusual, we live in a crazy world after all.
"Where do I start?"

As a reply to Allyn's rhetorical question, an interface of a map appears with a red marking showing the nearest inn. There is also a green marking that represents his current location.
"Not so far off," Allyn said and walks towards his first destination using the map.
While on his way, Allyn used the time to get a better glimpse of the city, and no matter how many times he's done this, he still felt awed at the geographical design.
The city seems like the fusion of both modern and ancient times. It has tall and colorful high-tech buildings, yet there are individuals carrying swords by their side. This is typical of old times.
At a great distance, the sight of the city's wall could be seen from his point of view. It must be many meters high without a doubt.
Allyn couldn't tell the difference between NPC and fellow players like himself, which may prove problematic in the future... Well, that is a problem for another time.
"Hello my honest guest, what would you like to have?"
Upon stepping inside the inn, a bald, middle-aged man approached with an elevated countenance.
"What do you have?" Allyn asked.
The middle-aged man named Wellington made a hand gesture and Allyn could see all his services at his interface.
"They are so expensive," he mumbles.
"Of course they are. Our ingredients are very special and not very easy to come by," says Mr. Wellington.
"I'll get Five and Seven if you don't mind," Allyn said after a moment's hesitation.
"As you wish," says Mr. Wellington with a smile.
In an instant, Allyn's order appeared on his table. This came as a surprise, since he had expected it to take a while. But this is a game world. Some things are a little different here.
"Dig in, my friend," Wellington lastly said before moving away.
To Allyn's surprise, his sense of taste still works, even in this artificial world…
Having finished his meal, Allyn was about to step out of the inn...
