"If my guess is right, you were adventuring during that period" he said as he waited calmly for her answer or reaction

He waited for her reaction but how she behaved was not in any of his connections.

"Oh, are you a prince or something. With how fair and handsome you are, I don't seem to have heard of your name anywhere" or where you just lying about your name , she thought to herself.

It couldn't be helped, he was just too handsome. It's not an exaggeration to say he was God's perfect creation. If he were to smile, she wondered how handsome he would be.

To her, he was more handsome than Jayden, so he couldn't be unknown person, plus the fact he has such a rare poison in his body.

It could be said that today should be the last day of the poison, because with the symptoms she knows he wouldn't have been able to drag his body towards the ice pith river.

"Am a business man"

She raised her eyebrows but did not say anything, since he did not want to say which company he owns, she decided to leave it at that.

"How were you able to get me out of the river?"

"I didn't, you were already on land when I arrived. It's possible that you had been swept away by the river"

He looked at her strangely after he finished talking. He opened and closed his mouth various times. He wants to say something, but he is not sure if he should ask.

"Speak" she spoke concisely, like she couldn't be bothered to speak much with him.

The corner of his mouth twitched, but he still spoke.

"How did you survive in the river. The river is clearly dangerous"

"How should I know"

He raised his eyebrows, when he heard her answer, but he still continued his questions.

"How did you arrive here?"

She smiled but the smile did not reach her eyes.

"Hmm… I encountered assassins". He looked at how calm she was like she wasn't the one that assassins has sent to kill.

After making sure that he was okay, and the poison won't be able to affect him before it could be cured.

She stood up from the rock she had sat on. She was about to rub her aching bum when she noticed he was looking at her.

She was embarrassed. She walked to a free expanse of land. She waved her hand and a house appeared.

She began to draw runes and sigils to conceal it and prevent the poisonous fog from corroding the house.

When he saw what she did and how the house appeared, he wasn't particularly surprised.

His lips twitched, when he saw how she used a space ring.

"Come in" she used her hand to signal him to enter.

He gave a muffled groan when he stood up, because he had been sitting for quite sometime, his legs where quite numb.

He noticed that she is a germaphobe.

He followed her into the house. The interior was exquisite.

His lips twitched when he noticed the luxuriousness of the house.

"you can stay in the room at the end of the corridor"

"You don't need to worry about toiletries, they are in the wardrobe."

She no longer looked at him as she rushed upstairs to wash up.

While she was bathing, she remembered that he does not have any clothing.

Once she was done washing up, she walked towards the room opposite hers, her father's room should have some clothing which he had left when they returned from their family adventure

She took some house clothes.

She opened the door after knocking for sometime.

When she opened the door, he was walking out of the bathroom with the steam coming out of the bathroom as well as his body.

He tied a towel around his waist, with the steam coming of from his body. Water tricked down from his hair to his body. His abs were well proportioned.

She blinked her eyes at what she saw, if not for her discipline, she would have cursed.

Fuck!

Was God unfair, he had such great looks and also a great poison.

Sigh!, she returned back to her senses. How could she look at a man's body.

Her ears were already red, she did not know if it's because she was embarrassed or….

Cough

"Erm.. I thought you did not bring any cloth with you, you can manage this. It belongs to my dad.

Make do with it for now. I will be downstairs, you can take your time" she dropped the cloth on the bed before rushing out of the room, she was quite embarrassed.

Apart from her father, brother, Dylan, Carson and colleagues or subordinates, she isn't close to any man even her so called fiancé.

She rushed into her room when she noticed that she had not dried her hair before going to meet him.

He was quite shocked to see her in his room immediately he walked out of the bathroom, so he did not react in time.

While she was talking, he noticed how calm she was even after seeing his body, he was stunned.

Even his fiancée would drool at the sight of his body but she was calm.

Actually he was wrong, if he looked well he would see the tip of her ears are red.

He chuckled, he was amazed by his thoughts.

He quickly wore the clothes she brought for him.

It was not that he didn't have any clothes. Just like her, he also has a space ring which is also of top quality.

He walked downstairs to meet her only to find her in the kitchen.

His stomach grumbled when he perceived the smell that wafted around his nose.

She walked out of the kitchen with the food in her hands.

She had a white and pink headphones in her ear so she did not notice him behind her.

She was done setting the food and was about to go and call him.

She was about to walk upstairs, when she saw him standing at the top of the staircase.

She immediately removed the headphones as she invited him to come and eat.
