Past.

After walking out of the cave with Vergo following me, I asked.

"Vergo, how did you ended up inside that hole in the first place?"

"All orphans, homeless and criminals are dumped in the Dumpster since the nobels are afraid that those people will dirty their image. And, since my Mother died early on, I had to resort to robbery to feed myself.

In the end the guards found me and, as a punishment, they threw me there in the hopes of me dying. However, I survived and continued to do what I do best, which is stealing.

But as I am an 8 year old boy and I don't have any support, the villagers ended up ganging up on me. the villagers ended up ganking on me. They did not like the fact that I was a competitor, like them, and I kinda stole from them a few times too.

In the attempt of killing me, they stabbed me and threw me in The Pit, the place where they throw the dead." He told me his background like it was normal.

Right after he ended his story, we reached the back of the garbage site. After climbing the huge mountain of trash, we got to a place where I could see the entire village from the top.

"Vergo, do you know how many people there are in the village?" I asked him while looking at the despicable village.

"I don't know how to count." He simply said.

"Hmm, forgot that you were an orphan. I will teach you how to do it later on." I looked at him.

"Where are you from? You don't seem to be a local, you are wearing weird clothes and talking in a weird way." He pointed at me.

Looking at where he was pointing, he was refering to my tuxedo with red tie.

"This is called a tuxedo. And I don't talk in a weird way, I talk with class. Another thing I'll have to teach you later." I commented.

"You avoided my question." He looked at me and complained.

"I'm not from this world. I came from another world." I said.

"I don't believe in you." He crossed his arms.

This made me smile.

"You don't need to believe in me. Just follow me and I will show." I said.

"I will see if you are a man of word... Hey, why do you want to build a family, don't you have one?" He asked.

"You have no delicacy." I said.

"Delicacy? This is something to eat?" He asked.

Rolling my eyes, I answered. "I have to teach you that too."

'Hmm. I think I can tell him something about me too. After all, we are going to be part of the same family anyway.' I thought to myself before turning my head towards him.

"Vergo, I came from a prestigious family that is respected all over the world. At least from the one I came." After I said that he decided to interrupt me.

"If you came from such family, why would you want another?" He asked.

"Don't interrupt me. Continuing. I have a brother that is a genious that overshadows me in everything and when my aunt was born, my entire family replaced me.

When that happened, I fell into dispair. Until I figured out that I don't need my family, if my family doesn't want me. Then I will find the perfect solution. Simple. I will create my own family. fufufufufufufu" I laughed and looked at him as serious as I could get. "Vergo, you must remember. Strength is everything in this world.

The weak have no place in it. From now on we will train until we become the strongest and spread chaos. Anyone who defies our family must die in the most horrifying way possible." While I said that, Vergo just continued looking at me.

While any other child would be freaked out by now. After all, in Oemitsu's eyes can clearly be seen that he is insane. Someone who prioritises strenght over everything and sees, those who are weaker than him, as nothing but pawns.

Yet Vergo saw someone he could follow. He wasn't kind to the point that he thinks that his opponents shouldn't die. He was born in a harsh environment and knew that in this world the strong prey on the weak.

In Oemitsu he can see someone who would do anything to protect his family. To his enemies he is Devil, to his family he is their Shield. While he didn't know, his heart already wanted to follow that mad kid who said those words with immense passion.

"But we are still kids who are pathetically weak." Vergo complained.

"It doesn't matter. We will become stronger. Even if we have to train 24 hours a day. Every single day of the week. But for now, we have to focus on the task at hand." I said.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"We have to destroy the entire village. After all, they hurt one of my family member, they need to pay for it." I smiled again.

"How are we going to do it? There's a lot of people inside of it." He wondered.

"We need to wait for the perfect opportunity. Like hunters we need to wait for the perfect prey." I said.

"What do you mean?"

"Who rules the village" I asked ignoring his question.

"Hmm. In the village there's not a leader or something like that. However, there are three gangs that divide the territory evenly between each other. WhileWhile they dislike each other, they have a pact of non aggression between each other." He answered.

"You are surprisingly knowledgeable about this." I said, surprised.

"I would do anything to survive and knowing which people to provoke and which not to, is essential." He shrugged.

"For now, we wait." I said.

After 2 hours.

We waited on top of the pile of garbage until we spotted three small divisions going out of the village. Each division is going in different directions.

'Hmm. They should be from different gangs. Each gang should have different control zones. Of course all of this is only a supposition. However if I can put the gangs againts each other, then I just need to go and kill the last one standing. Its a high risk that I don't mind taking, after all, high risk means high reward.

I could probably fight the 3 gangs at once, since I am a Devil, however Vergo could die and that is a risk not worth taking. It is better if we slowly gain experience. I will get more experienced in killing and so will Vergo.' I thought.

"Vergo. It is time to hunt." I said while smiling and laughing.
