 It is true that being an heretic comes with such great dark powers but it was also a myth that a pure heart will be able manifest with these powers and the world will still be safe. No one is willing to give her chance to prover herself worthy accept one man.... 



Lucas also an abomination but of a more rare type swore an oath to Princess Joan to keep her safe even at the cost of his life without having a full knowledge of what he was about to go into. 

With time his loyalty will be tested and things became more difficult when he began to discover some truth about himself. He may have started his life as soldier but things will change when royal blood was identified in him. It was at this point that the guardian himself also needed someone else to keep him safe.

Princess Joan looked ahead and true to his words there was a check point before them.

This was definitely a land different from their own and it just hit her that they have not prepared for a situation like this when they will be questioned by soldiers from Lazaro..

She felt a little squeeze in her hand from Lucas who whispered into her ears.

Don't worry my princess, we will be fine just don't panic. He tried to make her calm.

"Is there no way we can bypass this check point? She asked as his words did little to her..

Although she knew with Lucas on her side there was nothing that could happen to her. Such was her belief in him.

"No other way my princess, this is a one way road I cannot see any other alternative" he replied looking around to be sure he was right about what he was saying..
