Chapter 6: Aloha from Aloha Beaches!

Somewhere in the paradise island lands of a luxurious resort on Aloha Beaches, a married couple in particular relax on their precious vacation, resting comfortably on a blanket that occupies their own sanctuary of peace on the white sands, enjoying the tranquility of the landscape and the sounds of the gentle waves on the seashore.

The woman, Yulissa De La Parra, a beautiful and elegant lady, shows her seductive figure all over the place in a black two-piece bikini. The sunlight, stopped under the shade of a wide parasol, cannot reach the light-brown skin of that muse, whose face, protected under a beach hat (adorned with a black ribbon of the same color as the rest of her clothes), it peeks out from underneath and through wavy strands from her dark hair.

Lying on the woman's legs, resting from his work as an emergency room physician, lies Angel San Miguel, a less complex subject to explain, but no less remarkable because, actually, he is the lucky owner of this beautiful lady's love. The man, half sleepy from the affectionate caresses that his wife leaves him between his hair, exposes an average body, somewhat athletic, strengthened. He is seen wearing swim shorts that highlight the blue and pink colors of a flowery beach print. On his left leg, specifically in the knee area, there is a large scar that stands out from his brown skin, antecedent to some painful anecdote from the past.

The mind of Ángel San Miguel is lost in some idea that is located between himself and some lost point in space. Yulissa, who has known him since her days as a university student, readily recognizes when one situation or another considerably obfuscates her husband. Given this, she, with all the tact in the world, takes the initiative to ask:

- Yulissa De La Parra: Sweetheart (...)

- Ángel San Miguel: What is it, Yuli?

- Yulissa De La Parra (looks directly into the eyes of her husband): Do you think I'm attractive?

- Ángel San Miguel (surprised by the question): Attractive? What are you talking about? You are the most beautiful and perfect woman that my eyes will ever see in my entire life.

- Yulissa De La Parra (kissing her spouse on her forehead): Do you really believe that?

- Ángel San Miguel (without hesitation): Totally.

Both consume a kiss, and their tender gazes merge under the same point, in silence, for a very brief moment. Yulissa smiles, and plants another small kiss on Ángel's face, who happily accepts it. Without haste, the woman lets out the following question:

- Yulissa De La Parra: So then, clarify for me (…) What could be so important as to distract the attention of a man as determined as you from the most beautiful and perfect woman that his eyes will ever see in his entire life?

- Ángel San Miguel (smiles shyly when he is discovered): Nothing really important. I was just thinking about the whole alumni meeting thing (…) you know, it's today, and by now, it should be starting.

- Yulissa De La Parra (says sadly): Do you regret taking this trip with me? You could have warned me in advance and I would have understood (...)

- Ángel San Miguel (shakes his head): Of course not. You well know that I love being with you, and I will never tire of it. Otherwise, I would not wear my wedding ring with such pride.

Although Yulissa is happy with such an answer, she does not finish comforting herself with those last words, so, she throws one last indecent question:

- Yulissa De La Parra (purses her lips a little while playing her fingertips gently against her husband's face): So, uh… Should I be jealous of someone?

Angel giggles, because that deduction so out of place for him had taken him by surprise. His wife watches him, so he can't let such an impolite act escape, so he just answers:

- Ángel San Miguel (smiles): Not at all. I have no eyes but for you.

- Yulissa De La Parra (looks her husband between doubts at not being able to get the desired information): In that case, I can't imagine what is rounding in your mind so much about.

Ángel closes his eyes for a short moment, enjoying the touch and the sweet essence of his wife's skin. He thinks about it for a moment, and after a deep sigh followed by an ironic giggle, when he opens his eyes again, Angel looks at his wife, and lets out a single name:

- Ángel San Miguel: Santiago.

- Yulissa De La Parra: Yes, Santi- (...) Santiago ?! Dr. Bob ?! Were you thinking about Dr. Bob ?! - * about to laugh * -.

- Ángel San Miguel (upset): Not in a romantic-affective way.

- Yulissa De La Parra: Maybe then in an erotic-passionate way?

Angel looks at his wife, annoyed. Yulissa has fun teasing her husband, but she concludes that it is better to redirect the conversation to the objective point:

- Yulissa De La Parra (smiles): It was a joke, angry boy. Don't let your manhood take it personal.

Ángel does not want to answer because he is upset, but Yulissa takes him by surprise and plants a tender kiss on his lips, mitigating any idea of resentment in his head (which, knowing Angel himself, his weakness is that beautiful woman) . Ángel, after an unsuccessful attempt to keep his pride in his place, gives in, and takes up the conversation:

- Ángel San Miguel: I was telling you. It happens that, for the meeting, they asked me to make a generation speech or something like that, so, since I thought it would be rude to make them look bad, I decided to send Santiago to declaim the speech I wrote.

- Yulissa De La Parra: And why didn't you call to ask for a replacement?

- Ángel San Miguel (indignant): Why? Because my speech cannot be replaced by the vague and empty words of any nobody. They need the peace and comfort that only my poetic phrases could give them.

- Yulissa De La Parra (incredulous): Sure (…) and because no one on this earth conceives your intellect as much as your best friend, so you decided that he was the only one indicated to carry your word, right?

- Ángel San Miguel: Just like that. Exactly.

Yulisa closes her eyes and sighs deeply disapprovingly at what she just heard, and when she turns to see her husband again, she tells him:

- Yulissa De La Parra: Sweetheart, I think you shouldn't have chosen Santiago for this mission.

- Ángel San Miguel (offended): And why not? Dr. Bob is unique! Authentic! (...) Le macho!

- Yulissa De La Parra: Precisely because of that (…) Do you remember that time he was invited to give a motivational speech to the new medical university students and he ended up saying that he finished the degree by mere commitment, and that it was not really worth so much effort and sacrifice?

Angel is stunned by the story of his wife, but still tries to defend his friend:

- Ángel San Miguel: Well, Yuli (…) it happens that Dr. Bob sometimes has his moments (…)

- Yulissa De La Parra (interrupts her husband): Or the time he was invited to a radio program to explain an illness, and because the interviewers did not understand his technicalities, he got bored and left place, just like that?

- Ángel San Miguel (ashamed): Maybe if we listened to his version (…)

- Yulissa De La Parra (interrupts her husband again): Or the time that (…)

- Ángel San Miguel (interrupts his wife, disgusted): I understand! It's enough (…)

- Yulissa De La Parra (caresses her husband on the cheek): I'm not saying it to bother you, sweetheart. It's just that, well (…) maybe you should call him and tell him not to go.

- Ángel San Miguel (looks at his wife seriously): I understand your concern, my love, but I have great confidence in Santiago, so much so that I would put my life in his hands if necessary. I know he can be a bit eccentric, but he is a great friend and I know he would not let me down.

- Yulissa De La Parra: Mmm (…) okay. If you are so sure, then everything is perfect.

- Ángel San Miguel (looking at his watch): Of course. In fact, the meeting has already started, so he should already be there.

- Yulissa De La Parra: Let's hope everything works out properly.

- Ángel San Miguel (smiles confidently): Without a doubt. Dr. Bob is the best. Everything will be great. He will tell me how he did in the meeting when we get back.

- Yulissa De La Parra: You really don't think it would be better to call him to see how everything is going?

- Ángel San Miguel: Not at all. This is a trip of yours and mine, so nothing will prevent us from enjoying our intimacy- * caresses the leg of his wife with a certain lust * -. Also, I repeat, Santiago has all my confidence. He is le macho! Nothing can go wrong!

(...)

Meanwhile, under the shade of a majestic tree located on a green hill near the alumni meeting that was taking place in the facilities of the Middle School # 13 of Coral City, a barely distinguishable but feminine and sensual figure observes the scene from afar. She is looking at everything through his eyes deep as the night itself. At that moment, a childish voice approaches to say something to this mysterious woman.

- Childish voice (a little nervous): A-are you ready for this act, Betty?

- Mysterious woman (with great confidence): Of course! I'm an artist! I was born to act! So (...) Let the show begin!
