Gio and the other knights are walking on the inner part of Level 4 when his range detection picks up his father's mana.
"Where is she?" He couldn't detect any other presence besides his father's.
When Konrad became visible from afar the knights rejoiced. From the looks of it he had a bloody fight based dried bloods all over his body but he looked unharmed and collected.
The closer he gets the more visible of another figure in his arm. Her long hair is dangling in the air and her body is wrapped with the Count's cloak. Everyone saw the beaten black hair girl being carefully carried by the Count. Stunned to their places, only Gio quickly went to his father.
"What happened?" his eyes are focused on the motionless girl.
"Call the healers." Konrad answered.
Gio notices that the girl is surrounded by his father's mana. Konrad is stopping the blood flow out of her. In doing so his body is suffering from great strain. Gio immediately called the Healers and set up an emergency healing procedure on her.
The knights can clearly see a girl with black hair. She possesses the same color of their previous countess and the young lady. Some who had its suspicion recovered from shock faster than those who had no idea what was happening.
In one corner, The father and son were sitting across each other away from the knight's ears. Gio handed a green healing potion to his father and after he drank it Gio questioned his father.
"What happened Father?"
"It is better to show it." Konrad said as he watched the girl getting medical attention.
Nobody asked questions to the Count and Young Master. They both never left the side of the unconscious lady.
'Who do you think that is?'
'Can it really be the young lady?'
'. . . You know how rare black hair is'
'Did you know---- the commotion last time. . .?'
The knights can't help but talk and speculate the sudden appearance of the lady with black hair.
"Get ready." Gio announced and everyone who was stealing glances and whispering stopped and immediately grabbed their things and got ready.
Gio personally picked up the young girl and carried her easily in his arms. After hours of walking they reach a place where various dead monsters are lying around.
"What happened here?" One knight asked
Gio watches his father walk past the dead monsters calmly.
They continue their walk where there is no shortage for dead monsters. Some were crushed, some were decapitated and blood splatters are everywhere.
Konrad stopped walking and the whole team halted also. They looked from their side and saw a shining lake in an open area where the sun shines through it.
"Wooooh!" One knight said.
"Go, if you want to stay dead." Konrad said coldly as he sat down on the ground. Everyone shut their mouth. He closed his eyes.
"Set the Camp. Scout the area. Go gather the resources." Gio dropped orders. Two knights pull out a long and thick blanket and Gio places the unconscious lady to rest there. He sat down at her side and stroked her hair. Her hair is far from being soft and neat nevertheless he still strokes it gently.
"Father, Did you bandage her up?"
"No, she did it all by herself."
"Will you tell me what happened?"
"See the lake for yourself first."
Without second thought Gio walked towards the lake and halted half way and stared at it for a few more seconds and decided to retreat. He sat down across from his father once again.
"That beast called hundreds of monsters here last night" Konrad said without opening his eyes.
"You killed all those monsters?" Gio asked unfazed as he looked at the lying dead bodies from afar.
"No, She did all of that. At Least in that area."
Gio looked at the peaceful face of hers and wondered how her small body could manage to kill those monsters.
Konrad opened his eyes and his blue eyes stared at her and said " That child is getting stronger at a frightening speed. "

Konrad slept for almost an entire day after returning to his estate. When he woke up it's already night time. He put on his robe, poured himself a bourbon and went out to the veranda. The night air is cold just like that night.
He finished killing all the monsters on his side of the forest after an hour and a half. It was a good exercise for him and he wondered how that child was holding up. He pulls out a cloth in his subspace and wipes the blood in his sword and throws it away.
He activated his range detection again. He smiled a little. Dead monsters lying around.
'I guess she is doing alright.' He thought and continued to roam around the forest to look for the girl.
After an hour he finally found her. She is standing in the pile of ogre's bodies. Her clothes are tattered and her body is covered in bandages and blood. She is breathing heavily and even in the distance one can tell her right arm is trembling. She jumps on the ground and continues to walk.
Konrad stealthily follows her tracks while she carefully walks and hides behind trees when a horde of monsters are on sight. She killed them instantly from behind like a trained assassin. Stab or crush that's how she kills them without wasting an ounce of energy. She repeats this until the sun starts to rise and she collapses.
She passed out not knowing she did kill every monster on her side.
Her tired and bleeding body held up for hours more than he expected. She will die in blood loss if Konrad leaves her be. He carefully picked her body and put her head against his chest. He surrounds her with his aura. Konrad flinched in an electrifying feeling as he forced himself to produce mana but then he returned to his normal straight face.
"You did well, my child." He whispered.
"Master" Konrad returns his mind to his alcohol. He looked at black smoke rising from his veranda floor.
"Report."
A man wearing black overalls and black mask appeared kneeling behind the count.
"She is awake."

She knows she passed out after killing so many monsters but when she woke up she found herself in her familiar bedroom.
'Was I saved again?.' She thought, staring at the ceiling.
She sat on her bed and reached for water beside her and sighed.
'My debts are piling up.'
She looked around the dark room and didn't feel any presence beside her but she wasn't sure so she slowly raised her hand and swiped down. The system opened up.

'My overall stat was up. This is good. I used to ignore my MP but I wonder why it keeps rising up but it stays zero.'
The room feels excessively large and empty.
'Where is Luna?' She scanned the whole room but she did not see a trace of Luna.
She got out of bed and sat in her favorite spot. The huge window had a clear view of a vast number of trees and a mountain. It's not visible during the night but it still soothes her. She then picks up a book.
'Basic Etiquettes Volume 2'
"I didn't get in their way right?." She mumbled and rested her head in the window.

The next day, Konrad and his sons visited her. They found her by the window reading quietly. She is too focused in her book that she didn't notice their presence.
"Ahem." Theo cleared his throat and the girl looked at them lazily. She went down hurriedly and greeted them.
"At ease." Konrad said as he sat in his usual place at the center table and he gestured for her to sit also. When they were seated, Konrad was the first one to open his mouth.
"How are you feeling?"
"I feel better, Your Grace. Thank you. You saved me again."
"I see."
*Knock* Knock*
The door opened and the usual two girl servants entered with tea and sandwich and as usual she was given a hot chocolate. They immediately went out of the room after serving the refreshments.
"Did I ruin the venture?."
Konrad, who was sipping tea, put down his tea and looked at her.
"You didn't. We got the resources much easier and faster with less monsters roaming around."
"I see."
For a few more minutes they stayed quiet and she didn't hate the silence. It has been like this ever since.
"Child." Konrad said in a low voice.
"Yes, Your Grace?"
"You've proven yourself. It's time for us to hold the end of our deal, in a few days you will receive the code." He said in a straight face.
She stopped breathing at the sudden announcement. Konrad looked decided but the other two seem to disagree. They are both looking away, frowning. Her eyes twitch at their disapproving look.
'They hated it.' She thought as she alternately looked at Theo and Gio. She clench her fist crumpling her night dress and said.
"Thank you for your grace. " She said emotionlessly.
Something broke inside her. They all don't know it.
