The whole day had passed and not once she had fallen asleep. The agony continues to torture her and by the time midnight had passed she can barely open her eyes.

"Master. Do you need anything?" Ingrid appeared.

"R,r *cough* R,ren. c-call h*cough* him." Kali couldn't tell whether her eyes were still open or did she already close them because she couldn't see anything but darkness.

Only four minutes had passed when Kali could hear Ren's voice.

"Have you regained consciousness?" His voice is closer than usual. He might be talking in close proximity.

Kali mustered all her strength and lifted her left hand. Even if her right arm is closer to Ren, she couldn't feel a thing on her right side, she even doubts if it's there.

"You called me? Why? Are you hurting anywhere?"
