The old King sitting in his bedroom chair and still wearing his sleep gown receives the report from Marquis Selison, that the Alexanders were seen entering the portal leaving the capital.
"I-I-I knew it t,they wouldn't be able to take me. Haa. I AM THE KING AFTER ALL!!! Ha. Ha." Despite the confident words his tone and uncontrollable shaking are evidence of his worry and nervousness.
'I am finally able to sleep.' He thought and stood up from the couch.
The prime minister immediately assisted the ailing King. The King has lost weight and the tiredness in face can longer be hidden. The darkening of the underneath of his eyes and the paleness of his complexion are signs of fatigue and lack of sleep.
"T,tell the King's Guard to stay c,close." The king tells Marquis Selison.
"Your majesty, the Alexanders are gone, wouldn't it be alright if your guard took a rest."
