Walking along the wood corridor of the inn, Ren came back to his room, a few minutes before dawn, reaching for the knob he halted for a second and sighed as he opened the door.
"How many times have I told you, to not enter my room as you please, my lady?" He said as soon as he entered.
A woman with long black hair greeted him with a stoic expression while peeking through the framed window with an open book on her lap.
Ren closed the door behind him
"You were not surprised this time." Sitting by the window frames, Kali said.
"I am used to your habits, I just wish these were not your habits. What are you doing at this hour? Surely, you didn't wait for me all night." Exhausted Ren still maintains his good posture as he settles on the chair opposite to Kali.
"I did wait all night." She answered as she closed her book and threw it back to her inventory.
Tired to give much reaction, Ren only managed to massage his throbbing head.
