The Hidden Life of the Count's Daughter

The sound is getting stronger and stronger as Kali stealthily approaches. The mixed sounds are hard to determine what exactly the sounds are but Kali could see hundreds of slaves laboring, carrying bricks, stones and other materials. A huge shadow of an under construction pillar is seen from the side.  She ran more towards the front hid behind one of the stack piles of large processed wood planks. She steps up and climbs the pile and she peek above it.

Checking first the surroundings she looked ahead at the pillar. It was an unbelievable sight that made her beat fast.

"Hey, hey. Hey!" Someone below her started calling cautiously.

"Hey!---- That's dangerous!" The stranger closed her eyes not wanting to see Kali fall.
