I won't say this novel isn't worth reading but as an experienced reader with years of CN experience I can say this novel isn't for me. So far it has managed to hit multiple tropes with just 3 chapters (where I left off) Trash Orphaned KIA/MIA (parents) Family united against him Revenge Can't cultivate poisoned plotted against ultimatums mysterious elder/expert literal face slapping none stop background chatter incessant jeering taunting mob characters provoked side characters constant resource grind it has the works and I'm not here for it The only thing it has going for it is that it has a somewhat unique cultivation system and cheat system the cultivation system is a mix of Eastern mysticism and Western mage craft. Essentially martial arts and magic not Qi but magic Even the naming dynamic is a mix of East meets West. the system itself is as stated in the synopsis but it needs energy. External energy from resources. Although I like the systems abilities I can't stand resource grinding like this.

The novel is very cliche with atitle that is suppose to bait increaders by trying lynch off of the lothp. It also includes the same old arrogant characters that don’t make any sense and there’s also the fact that the mc is the only one whose name is in chinese either webnovel did a mistranslation or they tried to cinch off western readers
The idea is quite good for the concept and cheat, but badly execute. Like the fighting scene, the one in chapter 3,4 one... That's a bit plot forced and also show that author want to show off but also want to hide.. Hurm.....
